Abstract
Rusunawa merupakan rumah susun sewa sederhana yang diperuntukan bagi masyarakat menengah kebawah, namun kenyamanan pengguna di dalamnya harus tetap diperhatikan. Untuk mencapai kenyamanan termal, suhu udara pada unit hunian harus sesuai dengan standar kenyamanan termal atau suhu netral. Rentang suhu netral di Kota Tangerang berkisar 23,75 C – 28,75 C. Namun pada kondisi eksisting, suhu udara pada unit hunian lebih tinggi dari rentang suhu netral. Penelitian ini menggunakan ecotect analysis 2011 sebagai perangkat simulasi untuk mengetahui suhu udara unit hunian pada tiga tanggal kritis, untuk mengetahui strategi pendinginan alami yang tepat, dan untuk mengetahui elemen pendingin alami yang mampu maksimal menurunkan suhu udara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemasangan sun-shading jenis horizontal louver overhang, vertical fins, dan egg crate mampu menurunkan suhu udara di dalam unit hunian Rusunawa Manis V Tangerang.
English Abstract
Rusunawa is a simple rented flats intended for middle and lower class, but the thermal comfort for the users in it must still be considered. To achieve thermal comfort, the air temperature in the residential units must be appropriate with thermal comfort standards or neutral temperatures. The neutral temperature range in the city of Tangerang ranges between 23.75 ° C - 28.75 ° C. However, on existing conditions, the air temperature in the residential unit is higher than the neutral temperature range. This study uses ecotect analysis 2011 as a simulation device to find out the air temperature of residential units on three critical dates, to find out the right natural cooling strategy, and to find the natural cooling element that is able to maximally reduce air temperature. The results showed that the installation of sun shading type horizontal louver overhang, vertical fins, and egg crates was able to reduce the temperature of the air inside the residential unit in Rusunawa Manis V Tangerang.
