Abstract
Nangka merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman buah tropis yang multifungsi dan dapat ditanam di daerah tropis. Bagi masyarakat Abeli Kota Kendari, didaerah tersebut nangka masih tidak diperbolehkan untuk dikonsumsi oleh ibu hamil karena dianggap sifatnya panas. Kandungan glukosa yang terdapat pada buah nangka berpotensi untuk dijadikan sumber alkohol. Glukosa pada nangka diubah menjadi alkohol karena mengalami proses fermentasi secara alami dan belum diketahui secara maksimal. Alkohol yang dikonsumsi selama hamil salah satunya dapat menyebabkan malformasi stuktur tubuh pada janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus buah nangka matang pada janin tikus rattus norvegicus L terhadap terjadinya malformasi stuktur tubuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan 20 ekor tikus bunting yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok; kontrol (K), kelompok dengan 3 dosis jus buah nangka matang (P1:0,85; P2:1,7; P3:3,4 ml/ekor/hari). Jus buah nangka diberikan sejak hari pertama kebuntingan hingga hari ke-18. Tikus dihisterektomi pada hari ke-19, janin tikus dihitung jumlahnya dan diamati kecacatan stuktur tubuh yang terlihat. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ditemukan kecacatan stuktur tubuh pada kelompok perlakuan dosis I, II, dan III jika dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, serta hanya ditemukan penurunan jumlah janin pada kelompok dosis II (36 ekor, 7,20 ± 2,588). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah buah nangka matang dapat dikonsumsi oleh ibu selama hamil dalam dosis yang sudah diteliti.
English Abstract
Jackfruit is one of the multifunctional tropical fruit and can be grown in the tropics. In Abeli, Kendari City, Jackfruit is still not allowed to be consumed by pregnant women because it is considered hot. Glucose contained in jackfruit has the potential to be a source of alcohol. Glucose on the jackfruit is converted into alcohol because it has a natural fermentation process and not known to the fullest yet. Alcohol consumed during pregnancy causes malformations the body structure of the fetus. This study aims to determine the effect of ripe jackfruit juice in fetus rat (Rattus norvegicus strain wistar) on the occurrence of malformations the body structure. This study used 20 pregnant rats divided into 4 groups; control (K), group with 3 doses of ripe jackfruit juice (P1: 0.85, P2: 1,7; P3: 3,4 ml / head / day). Ripe jackfruit juice given since the first day of pregnancy until the 18th day. The rat was hysterectomized on the 19th day, the rat fetus was counted and the visible disability of the visible body structure was observed. This research uses descriptive analysis. The results showed no body structure defect in the treatment group doses I, II, and III when compared with the control group, and only found decrease in the number of fetus in group dose II (36 head, 7,20 ± 2,588). The conclusion of this study is that the ripe jackfruit can be consumed by pregnant women in the dose that has been studied
