Abstract
Munculnya konsep pemberdayaan merupakan akibat dari aksi dan reaksi terhadap alam pikiran, tata masyarakat, dan tata budaya sebelumnya yang berkembang di suatu negara. Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan suatu proses pemberian daya atau kekuatan terhadap perilaku dan potensi individu atau masyarakat, serta pengorganisasian kelompok masyarakat oleh pemerintah maupun masyarakat itu sendiri atas dasar partisipasi. Dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang di lakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan appreciative inquiry. Penelitian ini dilakukan atas dasar pendekatan deficit based approach telah sukses mengidentifikasi banyak masalah tapi justru membuat masyarakat semakin pesimis. Saat pendekatan ini semakin banyak dikritik, muncul pendekatan appreciative inquiry sebagai antitesis dan memperbaiki kekurangan pendekatan sebelumnya. Komunitas averroes dengan program PADI-nya telah berhasil membuat masyarakat petani Desa Jatiarjo optimis dan bergerak memanfaatkan potensi komoditi kopi dan ubi- ubian serta lokasi strategis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian berlokasi di Desa Jatiarjo Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses pelaksanaan program PADI (Pendidikan Agrobisnis Desa Inovatif), keterlibatan masyarakat petani dalam PADI dan perubahan yang terjadi pasca pelaksanaan program PADI. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman dan Saldana yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan program PADI di Desa Jatiarjo komunitas averroes sudah melaksanakan 5 tahapan proses pemberdayaan masyarakat menggunakan pendekatan appreciative inquiry yaitu define, discover, dream, design dan destiny. Bentuk keterlibatan masyarakat petani Desa Jatiarjo yaitu dalam meningkatkan nilai jual komoditi asli Desa Jatiarjo, melakukan inovasi untuk menyempurnakan dan mengembangkan produk asli Desa Jatiarjo yang sudah pernah diproduksi serta melakukan pemasaran produk- produk hasil produksi Desa Jatiarjo. Namun dalam pemasaran produk dengan memanfaatkan media online seperti marketplace dan webside para peserta PADI Jatiarjo belum memanfaatkanya secara optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan peserta PADI Desa Jatiarjo masih fokus untuk membidik pasar lokal. Mereka masih mempromosikan produk di level desa, kecamatan hingga ke kabupaten itupun para peserta PADI sudah agak kwalahan dalam memenuhi pesanan. Selain itu Desa Jatiarjo memang belum memiliki jaringan internet yang bagus. Perubahan yang terjadi pasca pelaksanaan program PADI yaitu akses sudah mumpuni, munculnya kesadaran kritis, peserta PADI Jatiarjo berpartisipasi penuh dalam pengambilan keputusan, terbentuknya sistem kontrol melalui pembagian peran dan tanggung jawab. Untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan belum bisa diulur karena program PADI masih berjalan 2 tahun. Saran untuk masyarakat petani Desa Jatiarjo kesulitan dalam sinyal bisa diatasi dengan membuat alat penguat sinyal. Agar kedepanya masalah kekurangan sinyal bisa di hilangkan dan aktifitas penjulan secara online dapat berjalan lancar. Saran kedepanya untuk para peserta PADI Jatiarjo, mungkin kedepanya keberadaan wisata kampung kopi bisa di tambah dengan berbagai satwa seperti musang selain bisa menambah fariasi kopi juga bisa di jadikan sebagai salah satu sarana penarik pengunjung.
English Abstract
The emergence of the concept of empowerment as a result of the action and the reactions to the mind, of the community and administration culture before that develops in a country. Community development is a process of i am the strength against behavior and potential individuals or society and organizing community groups public and government itself on the basis of participation. In the implementation of the community empowerment in do in this research adopting appreciative inquiry. The research was done based on deficit based approach that has succeed in identifying many problems but make communities become more pessimistic. When the approach got many criticisms, then emerged appreciative inquiry as antithesis and improve the weaknesses of the previous approach. Averroes community with PADI program has succeeded make the farmer communities of Jatiarjo Village become optimistic and move to use the commodities potentials of coffee and tubers and strategic location. The research use descriptive approach by using quantitative approach through case study method. Data collection by using interview, observation and documentation. The research location at the Jatiarjo Village, Pasuruan Regency. The research focused at the PADI (Agribusiness Education of Innovative Village) program implementation process, involvement of farmer communities in PADI and change occurs after PADI program implementation. Data analysis by using Miles, Huberman and Saldana model, that is data collection, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that in the PADI program implementation at Jatiarjo Village of averroes community has implemented 5 communities empowerment process use appreciative inquiry, that is define, discover, dream, design and density. The communal involvement of Jatiarjo Village, conduct innovation to complete and develop the original commodity sales value of Jatiarjo Village, make innovation to perfect and develop the original product of Jatiarjo Village that has been produced ever and conduct marketing for the product. But the product marketing by using online medium such as marketplace and website and the participants of PADI of Jatiarjo Village still focus to get local market. They still promote the product at the level of village, sub district, up to regency, even the PADI participants are overwhelmed in fulfilling the orders. Beside that the Jatiarjo Village has good internet connection. Change occurred after PADI program implementation, good internet access, critical awareness emerges, PADI Jatiarjo participants participate fully in decision making, formation of control system through division of role and responsibility. Suggestions for how the village of farmers community Jatiarjo difficulties in a signal could be cured by an amplifier signals created a device. So that in the future is a lack of a signal they could go in peeled away and trading activity in an online manner make it run successfully. The future for recommendations about such things as statements of the same participants jatiarjo PADI that will be used, maybe later of the existence of a tourist attraction although last year coffee can broke out at the village in addition to the with a wide range of animals like a weasel in addition to be able to increase the fariasi coffee also they could go in could have made instead of one of the facilities for towing there were thousands of visitors.
