Abstract
Kota Batu terkenal dengan budidaya pertanian tanaman apel, ada berbagai industri apel yang telah dikembangkan. Tanaman apel yang sudah menjadi salah satu ikon Kota Batu harus terus dipertahankan sebagai bentuk kearifan lokal. Dengan adanya berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi pada pertanian tanaman apel ini maka harus ada yang dibenahi. Kerusakan sumberdaya lahan pertanian terjadi karena aktivitas pertanian yang tidak ramah lingkungan, sehingga lahan kritis terus bertambah dari tahun ke tahun. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya perubahan sistem pertanian yang diterapkan supaya kelestarian lingkungan tetap dapat terjaga, salah satunya dengan menerapkan sistem pertanian berwawasan lingkungan. Sistem pertanian berwawasan lingkungan merupakan sebuah alternatif untuk melakukan proses produksi pertanian yang berkelanjutan yang mempunyai peranan penting untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan di masa kini dan mendatang. Studi penelitian perilaku usahatani petani apel (Malus sylvetris Miil) berwawasan lingkungan dilakukan di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu karena Desa Tulungrejo merupakan desa yang menjadi pusat pertanian tanaman holtikultura di kota batu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penerapan pertanian berwawasan lingkungan pada tanaman apel (Malus sylvetris Miil) di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskripsi kuantitatif menggunakan kuisioner dengan jumlah petani sampel sebanyak 66 orang. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling (pengambilan sampel acak sederhana) dimana besarnya sampel tidak kurang dari 10% dari jumlah satuan-satuan elementer populasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data dan pengolahan data. Pengumpulan data berupa data primer yang diperoleh dengan cara wawancara terhadap petani beserta kuisioner dan pengamatan langsung di lahan sedangkan untuk data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi di desa penelitian dan instansi terkait di Kota Batu. Untuk pengolahan data menggunakan analisis skala Linkert.
English Abstract
Batu town is famous for the cultiv ation of crops of apples, there is a variety of apple industry has been developed. Apple crop which has become one of the icons of Batu should be maintained as a form of local wisdom. With the various problems that occur in agriculture apple crop this then there should be restyled. Damage to agricultural land resource s occurs due to agricultural activity that are not environm entally friendly, so that critical area continues to grow from year to year. Therefore, it is necessary to change the agricultural system that is applied so that the envir onment can still be maintained, one of them by applying environm entally of farming systems. Environmentally of agricultural system is an alternative to the process of sustainable agricultural production which has an important role to preserve the env ironment in the present and future. Research studies t he behavior of farmers farming apples (Malus sylvestris Miil) environmentally s ound to do in Tulu ngrejo, Bumiaji, Batu Town as Tulungrejo a farming village that became the center of horticulture crops in Batu Town. This study aims to determine the level of implementation of environmentally of agriculture in crops of apples ( Malus sylvestris Miil) in Tulungrejo, Bumiaji, Batu Town. The study was conducted using the method of quantitative description using a questionnaire wit h a number of farmers sample of 66 people. Sampling was conducted using simple random sampling (simple random sampling) whereby the sample is not less than 10% of t he number of units elementary population. This research was conducted with several stages of data collection and data processing. The data collection of primary data obtained through interviews to farmers along with questionnaires and direct x observations in the field, while for secondary data obtained from research establishments in the village and related institutions in Batu Town.
