Abstract

Gaya hidup modern cenderung kearah gaya hidup yang instan dan praktis. Gaya hidup yang serba instan dan praktis memungkinan masyarakat modern sulit menghindar terhadap makanan dan minuman instan atau cepat saji. Kebutuhan konsumsi makanan dan minuman instan dan cepat saji yang sehat sangat dibutuhkan, salah satunya adalah mengolah sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan seperti wortel. Kota Batu dan Kabupaten Malang adalah salah satu penghasil komoditas wortel. Besarnya potensi sumber daya alam khususnya komoditas wortel harus dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan ekonomi masyarakat. caranya adalah mengolah komoditas wortel menjadi produk yang mempunyai added value. Salah satunya adalah dengan mendirikan agroindustri pengolahan wortel menjadi tablet effervescent wortel. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah memproduksi ulang dan menguji penerimaan calon konsumen terhadap formula terbaik pembuatan tablet effervescent berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya. Uji penerimaan dilakukan kepada 20 responden bebas untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan konsumen terhadap produk tablet effervescent wortel. Dalam penelitian ini juga dilakukan kajian perancangan agroindustri skala menengah yang meliputi aspek pasar, aspek teknis, aspek sumber daya manusia, dan aspek finansial. Hasil uji penerimaan yang dilakukan kepada 20 responden bebas didapatkan persentase menyukai 55%, netral 35%, dan tidak menyukai 10%. Hasil uji penerimaan ini menunjukkan produk tablet effervescent wortel dapat diterima oleh konsumen. Agroindustri tablet effervescent wortel yang direncanakan membidik 3% dari pasar yang tersedia sehingga diperoleh kapasitas produksi rata-rata yang direncanakan adalah 8,45 ton per tahun. Hasil perhitungan analisis finansial menunjukkan hasil yang baik berdasarkan beberapa kriteria kelayakan. Dengan umur proyek selama 20 tahun kebutuhan modal investasi sebesar Rp 6.505.378.609,60 dan biaya produksi selama tahun pertama Rp_1.732.525.447,24. Harga pokok produksi Rp 10.774,41 dan kemudian produk dijual senilai Rp_16.000,- termasuk PPN 10%. Besarnya modal investasi agroindustri dapat ditutupi dalam masa pengembalian selama 3 tahun 9 bulan. Total pendapatan yang diterima pada tahun awal produksi mencapai Rp 2.572.800.000,00 dengan nilai Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 7.661.394.851,54; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 28,34%; Profitability Index (PI) sebesar 2,50 dan B/C Ratio sebesar 1,99. BEP dicapai pada tingkat produksi tablet effervescent wortel sebesar 33.056,76 tube, atau senilai Rp 528.908.134,92. Pada analisa sensitivitas terjadi penurunan nilai NPV, PI, IRR dan B/C Ratio serta terjadi peningkatan Payback Period dan BEP yang menunjukkan penurunan tingkat pendapatan perusahaan. Berdasarkan keseluruhan keseluruhan kriteria kelayakan tersebut, maka agroindustri tablet effervescent wortel yang direncanakan dapat dikatakan layak untuk direalisasikan.

English Abstract

Modern lifestyle tend toward instant and practical lifestyle. Instant and practical lifestyle of modern society makes it difficult to escape of fast food and drinks. Consumption of healthy fast food and drinks are needed, one which is processing vegetables and fruits such as carrot into instant beverages. Batu City and Kabupaten Malang is one of producer of carrot commodities. The amount of the potential natural resources especially commodities carrots should be able to be utilized as an opportunity to improve the level of welfare and economic society. One way is processing carrots into products that have added value. Carrots processing is realized by developing carrot effervescent tablets agro-industries. This research is reproduce and consumer acceptance test of the best formulation of carrot effervescent tablets based on previous research. Consumer acceptance test performed by 20 respondent (general) to find out the level of consumer acceptance of products carrot effervescent tablets. In this research was also study of medium scale agroindustrial design of carrot effervescent tablet which includes market aspects, technical aspects, aspects of human resources, and financial aspects. Consumer acceptance test were performed with 20 respondent (general) the result showed 55% like, neutral 35%, and 10% dislike. From result of consumer acceptance test can be conclude that products carrot effervescent tablets is acceptable. Carrot effervescent tablets agroindustries planned to target 3% of the existing market is the same as the equivalent of 8,45 ton effervescent powder per year. Financial analysis found good results based on the feasibility analysis criteria. Estimated project life of 20 years and required total capital investment of Rp 6.505.378.609,60 and total production cost of Rp 1.732.525.447,24. From other result of analysis found that cost of goods production of Rp 10.774,41 and then the product is sold at a price of Rp 16.000 including PPN 10%. The capital investment of factory establishment can be covered in the refund for 3 year 9 month. Total income earned during the first year of production reached Rp 2.572.800.000,00 with a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp 7.661.394.851,54; Internal Rate of Return of 28,34%; Profitability Index (PI) of 2,50 and B/C Ratio of 1,99. Break Event Point (BEP) is on the carrot effervescent tablets level production of 33.056,76 tube, worth Rp_528.908.134,92. In the sensitivity analysis to be impaired NPV, PI, IRR and B/C Ratio besides an increase in Payback Period and BEP which showed a decrease in the level of corporate earnings. Based on the overall feasibility criteria, then the planned development of carrot effervescent tablets agro-industries can be said to deserve to be realized.
