Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek metode dalam penggunaan aitem favorabel dan unfavorabel pada Ethnic Identity Scale (EIS). Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 437 siswa/siswi SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan software R versi 3.4.0 dengan package Lavaan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis efek metode adalah dengan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) melalui pendekatan CTCM dan CTCM-1. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan penggunaan aitem favorabel dan aitem unfavorabel memiliki potensi menimbulkan efek metode yang ada pada skala EIS.

English Abstract

This study aims to examine the method effects in Ethnic Identity Scale (EIS) using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with alternative model from CTCM and CTCM-1. The participant of this study are 437 junior highschool students in Malang. The data is being analyzed by R software version 3.4.3 with Lavaan package. The result of the study shows there is a method effects from using favorable and unfavorable items in EIS.
