Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan performa Classical Test Theory (CTT) dan Item Response Theory (IRT) dalam analisis karakteristik psikometrik skala identitas etnik versi forced choice. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif psikometrik dengan dua pendekatan analisis, yaitu CTT dan IRT. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala identitas etnik versi forced choice yang terdiri dari 21 blok yang mewakili 3 dimensi yang tidak saling berkorelasi, yaitu eksplorasi, komitmen, dan afirmasi. Terdapat beberapa teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian itu yaitu, Corrected Item Total Correlation dan Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR-20) untuk CTT dan model parameter logistik 1-PL dan 2-PL serta ICC dan IIF pada IRT. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 440 siswa SMA Laboratorium Universitas Malang. Software yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah R Studio versi 3.3.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CTT dan IRT secara keseluruhan memiliki performa yang sebanding dalam menganalisis skala identitas etnik versi forced choice.

English Abstract

This study aimed to compare the performance of Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) in a psychometric characteristic analysis of ethnic identity scale forced choice version. This study used quantitative psychometric method CTT and IRT approaches. This study used ethnic identity scale forced choice version which consists of 21 blocks representing 3 uncorrelated multidimensions, exploration, commitment, and affirmation. Statistic techniques used in this study were Correlated Total Item Correlation, Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR-20), and SEM for CTT and 1-PL, 2-PL, ICC, IIF and SEM on IRT. To that end, the researcher selected 440 senior high school students at SMA Laboratorium Universitas Malang. To analyze the collected data, R Studio Version 3.3.2 were used. The overall results show that both CTT and IRT have comparable performance in analyzing psychometrics performance of ethnic identity scale forced choice version.
