Abstract
Sejak konflik Korea Selatan dan Korea Utara tereskalasi pada tahun 1950-1953, konflik antar kedua negara tersebut terus berlangsung hingga sekarang. Beberapa konflik terus bermunculan seperti propaganda, yang menjadi salah satu alat psikologis yang secara sengaja digunakan untuk memberikan pengaruh antar satu sama lain. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, propaganda mengalami beberapa perubahan diberbagai aspek seperti instrumen, konten, dan sebagainya. Korea Selatan telah melakukan propaganda siaran melalui sebuah pengeras suara yang diletakkan disepanjang zona demiliterisasi. Konflik ini muncul kembali pada tahun 2015 setelah vakum selama hampir 11 tahun. Propaganda ini menjadi salah satu strategi terbaik untuk memicu terjadinya pembelotan dari Korea Utara. Konten yang disiarkan meliputi idelogi, berita mancanegara, informasi cuaca bahkan musik Kpop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen propaganda Korea Selatan terhadap Korea Utara. Garth S. Jowett dan Victoria O’Donnell telah menyediakam 10 framework untuk menganalisis elemen propaganda. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan mendeskripsikan elemen propaganda pengeras suara Korea Selatan.
English Abstract
Since South and North Korea’s problem escalated in 1950-1953, the complexity of the two countries continued until now. Several act of war just like propaganda, become one of the phsychological weapons which expressly used to give influence to each others. The propaganda has changed in many aspects through the instrument, content and etc. South Korea has make loudspeaker propaganda broadcast through giant speaker which has placed along demiliterized zone. This conflict has been return on in 2015 after vacum almost 11 years. This propaganda become the best way to make defection from North Korea. The content including ideological terms, international news, weather information even Kpop Mucic. This problem become complicated since Korean war until now. This reseacrh purpose to identification South Korea’s propaganda to North Korea. Garth S. Jowett and Victoria O’Donnell has set 10 frameworks to analize the elements of propaganda. The method of this research is descriptive to describe the elements of South Korea propaganda broadcast.
