Abstract
Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, fotografi menjadi sebuah media untuk merekam realitas dan peristiwa apa yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebuah karya visual berupa fotografi memang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat, khususnya bagi pencipta foto hingga mereka membentuk sebuah komunitas fotografi yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan objek wisata suatu daerah. Saat ini media fotografi berupa foto wisata menjadi media yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan kepada khalayak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada foto wisata yang menggunakan segitiga retoris pada retorika visual, serta mengidentifikasi tiga aspek dalam retorika visual dari Sonja K. Foss, seperti simbolis, tindakan campur tangan manusia, dan kehadiran audien. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk membentuk kontruksi pesan pada hasil karya visual berupa foto wisata oleh komunitas fotografi di media sosial instagram. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Unit analisis yang digunakan berupa 10 foto wisata pada akun instagram komunitas fotografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fotografer ingin menyampaikan pesan melalui hasil karyanya kepada audien. Pada masing-masing karya foto yang dihasilkan memiliki elemen visual yang berbeda tergantung dari bagaimana fotografer dalam menciptakan sebuah foto. Setiap foto yang dihasilkan memiliki persamaan, yaitu proses pembuatan pesan menggunakan tiga aspek visual berupa simbolis, tindakan campur tangan manusia, dan kehadiran audien. Perbedaan pada 10 jenis foto wisata terletak pada konsep tentang kehadiran manusia yang terhubung dengan objek lain.
English Abstract
A long with the times, photography became a medium to record the reality and phenomenon of what happens in daily life. A visual work in the form of photography is very liked by the community, especially for the photo creator until they form a photography community that aims to develop a tourist attraction of a region. Currently photography media in the form of tourist photos into a medium that is used to inform a message to audiences. This study focuses on tourist photos using rhetorical triangles on visual rhetoric, and identifies three aspects of the visual rhetoric of Sonja K. Foss, as symbolic action, human intervention, and presence of audiens. The purpose of research is to form the construction of messages on visual work in the form of photo tours by the photography community in social media instagram. This research using qualitative research. Unit of data analysis used in the form of ten photos of tourism on instagram account of photography community. The results showed that the photographer wanted to inform the message through the results of this work to the audience. In each of the pictures that produced have similarities, like the process of message building using three visual aspects of symbolic action, human intervention,presence of audience. The difference in the ten types of tourism photography can be found in the consepts and ideas of human intervention that connected to other objects.
