Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek mood negatif terhadap false memory recognition. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experiment between subject dengan jumlah partisipan 79 mahasiswa yang terbagi menjadi 42 orang (kelompok eksperimen) dan 37 orang (kelompok kontrol). Mood negatif diinduksi dengan video peperangan Allepo. Mood partisipan setelah diinduksi mood negatif dan diinduksi netral diketahui melalui manipulation check dengan skala Pick A Mood. False memory recognition diuji menggunakan paradigma Deese-Roediger McDermott (DRM). Data dianalisis menggunakan Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan efek false memory recognition antara kelompok yang diberikan induksi mood negatif dan kelompok kontrol (p= .058). Induksi mood negatif dinyatakan berhasil dengan adanya perbedaan antara partisipan yang diinduksi mood negatif dan induksi netral (p= .0001)
English Abstract
The purpose of this study was to see the impact of mood negative on false memory recognition. The design used in this study was between subject experiment involving 79 (42 in experiment group and 37 in control group). Video of Allepo’s war used to induce negative mood and participant mood were checked by Pick-A-Mood (PAM) scale as manipulation check. False memory recognition was tested using Desee Roedrieger McDermott (DRM) paradigm. Data were analyzed using Independent Sample t-Test to test the hypothesis, The result showed that there was no difference false recognition between experiment and control group (p= 0.058). Negative mood was successfully induced, the subjective measurements showed differences between the two groups (p= 0,0001).
