Abstract
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah berangkat dari kondisi mantan pecandu narkoba yang kesusahan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan di sektor formal yang disebabkan karena mereka tidak memiliki SKCK untuk melamar pekerjaan di sektor formal. Disisi lain keluarga sebagai orang terdekat justru tidak memberikan dukungan pada saat mantan pecandu narkoba tersebut kesulitan untuk mencari dan melamar pekerjaan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencermati pemberdayaan pembuatan frame kacamata kayu bagi mantan pecandu narkoba untuk menjadi pribadi yang produktif dan mandiri. Dalam penyusunan skripsi ini penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data adaah yang pertama observasi dimana penulis melakukan pengamatan atau pengambilan data untuk melihat seberapa jauh efek tindakan yang telah dicapai. Peneliti mencatat hal-hal yang terjadi saat tindakan dan mendeskripsikan penampilan peserta pemberdayaan saat sebelum, selama dan setelah proses berlangsung. Yang kedua adalah wawacara, disini penulis melakukan wawancara langsung dengan beberapa narasumber yang terlibat secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dalam proses pemberdayaan mantan pecandu narkoba di Yayasan Sadar Hati Malang. Narasumber-narasumber tersebut dipilih oleh penulis sesuai kriteria tertentu agar dapat mencapai tujuan dari penelitian ini. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara tersebut akan diperoleh data yang berupa gambaran proses sebelum, selama dan setelah proses pemberdayaan. Jenis pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah jenis deskriptif kualitatif dimana pendekatan ini lebih berfokus untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari apa saja masalah-masalah yang ada serta tata cara kerja yang berlaku. Disini penulis berperan sebagai instrumen pengumpul data dan juga sebagai pengolah data dengan cara melakukan penelitian dengan terjun langsung ke lokasi penelitian.
English Abstract
The background of this study is the departure from the condition of former drug addicts who are in trouble to get a job in the formal sector because they do not have Statement of Police Report to apply for jobs in the formal sector. On the other hand, the family as the closest person does not provide support when the former drug addict is difficult to find and apply for a job. The purpose of this research is to observe the empowerment of wooden glass frame for former drug addicts to become a productive and independent person. In made of this thesis the author used data collection techniques is the first is observation where the authors make observations or retrieval data to see how far the effects of actions that have been achieved. The researcher noted the things that occurred during the action and described the participants' performances of empowerment before, during and after the process. The second is interview, here the authors conduct direct interviews with some of the informants involved directly or indirectly in the process of empowerment of former drug addicts in Yayasan Sadar Hati Malang. These informants are selected by the author according to certain criteria in order to achieve the objectives of this research. From the results of observation and interview will be obtained data in the form of process description before, during and after empowerment process. The type of research approach used by researchers is descriptive qualitative type, where this approach is more focused to know and learn what are the existing problems and work procedures that apply. Here the author acts as a data collecting instrument and also as a data processor by doing research by plunging directly to the location of research.
