Abstract
Ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan adalah koleksi yang dimiliki perpustakaan dan siap digunakan atau dimanfaatkan oleh pemustaka. Koleksi perpustakaan erat kaitannya dengan relevan, berorientasi kepada pengguna, lengkap, dan mutakhir. Koleksi perpustakaan merupakan salah satu modal yang menjadi daya tarik pemustaka untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Apabila koleksi yang tersedia sesuai kebutuhan pemustaka, maka akan sangat mempengaruhi minat pemustaka untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel secara incidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji regresi linier sederhana pada tabel correlations diperoleh beta sebesar 0,858, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Hasil uji F menunjukkan angka 101,812, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Hasil uji t menunjukkan 10,090, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Hasil uji determinasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan 51% minat kunjung pemustaka dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan, sedangkan 49% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan pada penelitian ini. Maka hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang siginifikan antara ketersediaan koleksi perpustakaan terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.
English Abstract
The availability of collection library is a collection owned library and ready to use by visitor. The collection library closely related with relevant, oriented to a user, complete, and uptodate. The collection library is one of capital into attration visitor to visit the library. When a collection available with the need visitor, it would be affecting interest visitor to visit the library. The purpose of this study was to know the influence of availability of collection library towards the visiting influence of visitor in library of Muhammadiyah University Malang. The method used in this study is method of explanatory research with quantitative approach. Sample drawing was incidental sample by sample 100 respondents. The analytical method used to research is the method of simple linier regression. The result of simple linier regression by correlation table in obtained is 0,858 beta, with a value of siginificance is 0,000<0,05. The result of F-test shows with number of 101,812, with the a value of significance is 0,000<0,05. The result of t-test shows with number 10,090, with the a value of significance is 0,000<0,05. The test of determination is 51% the visiting influence of visitor in library is influenced by the availability of collection library, while 49% influenced by other variable that have not been shown in this study. So the analysis shows that there isa significance influence between the availability pf collection library towards the visiting influence of visitor in library of Muhammadiyah University Malang.
