Abstract
Kualitas tidur merupakan suatu keadaan tidur yang dijalani seorang individu menghasilkan kesegaran dan kebugaran saat terbangun. Terapi yang digunakan untuk mengatasi gangguan tidur adalah terapi musik yang termasuk dalam terapi non farmakologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik instrumental terhadap kualitas tidur pada lanjut usia. Metode ini menggunakan Quasi eksperimental design dengan melibatkan dua kelompok subjek, kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok control (Nonequivalent control group design). Sampel yang dipilih sebanyak 20 orang yang dibagi dalam kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner PSQI, skor pretest sebelum dilakukan terapi 10 responden intervensi dan 10 responden kontrol mengalami kualitas tidur buruk, setelah dilakukan terapi dalam waktu satu minggu kualitas tidur 10 responden intervensi menjadi baik dan 1 responden kontrol baik dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa musik instrumental berpengaruh terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia. Lansia dengan gangguan tidur dapat menjadikan terapi musik instrumental sebagai salah satu bagian dari terapi nonfarmakologi untuk mengatasi gangguan tidur selain terapi farmakologi.
English Abstract
Sleep quality is a state of sleep that undertaken an individual produces freshness and fitness when awakened. Therapy used to overcome sleep disorders is a music therapy that is included in non-pharmacological therapy. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of instrumental music therapy on sleep quality in the elderly. This method uses Quasi experimental design with two groups, include experimental groups and control groups (nonequivalent control groups design). Selected samples were 20 people divided into treatment and control group. Data were collected using a PSQI questionnaire, pretest score before therapy, 10 intervention respondents and 10 control respondents experienced poor sleep quality, after one week therapy, the average quality of sleep 10 respondents intervention was good and 1 respondent controls good with sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. Then it can be concluded instrumental music affect the quality of sleep in the elderly. Elderly with sleep disorders can use instrumental music therapy as one part of nonfarmakologi therapy to overcome sleep disorders additional pharmacological therapy.
