Abstract
Internet merupakan salah satu teknologi informasi yang dapat memudahkan pengguna dalam mencari informasi serta melakukan komunikasi dengan pengguna lain. Salah satu layanan dari internet adalah instant messenger atau pesan instan. Pesan instan yang banyak digunakan saat ini adalah messengger ABC. Messengger ABC merupakan aplikasi instant messaging yang memberikan layanan berkirim pesan, telepon dan juga video secara gratis. Salah satu pengguna messenger ABC adalah Lembaga XYZ. Lembaga XYZ adalah lembaga eksekutif yang berada di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Brawijaya. Pada penggunaan messenger ABC dilembaga XYZ tidak terlepas dari masalah, salah satu masalahnya adalah bukti percakapan penting yang kemudian di screenshoot oleh pengguna lain dan hasil dari percakapan tersebut disebarkan kepada pengguna lainnya pula. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen serta mengatahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat memengaruhi pengguna messengger ABC dalam penerimaan informasi dilembaga XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan The Unified Theory Of Acceptance and Use Of Technology (UTAUT) yang dikembangkan oleh Venkatesh et al. (2003) dengan analisis regresi linear. Sampel data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden melalui kuesioner online. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Trust dan Privacy memengaruhi Behavioral Intention (perilaku pengguna) dalam penerimaan informasi. Terdapat dua faktor yang tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Behavioral Intention (perilaku pengguna) yaitu Performance Expectancy dan Faciliting Condition.
English Abstract
Internet is one of the information technology that can facilitate user to find information and communicate with other. The most popular service of internet is instant messenger. Messenger ABC is the most favourite application for user. Messenger ABC is an application that provide free messaging, free call and video call. One of the example of Messenger ABC user is XYZ organization. XYZ organization is an executive institution in the Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University. XYZ organization have a problem when used messenger ABC , one of the problem is evidence of important conversations with other user screenshoot by other users and the results of conversations are publicated to other users. This research purpose to determine about relationship between independent variables and dependent variables and knowing about factors that can affect messenger ABC user about receiving information on XYZ organization . This research use The Unified Theory Of Acceptance and Use Of Technology (UTAUT), this model developed by Venkatesh et al. (2003) and all of result questionnaire processed by linear regression analysis. The samples used in this research is 100 user through an online questionnaire. The results of this research show that Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Trust and Privacy variables have a significant influence on Behavioral Intention. There are two factors that have no significant influence on Behavioral Intention is Performance Expectancy and Faciliting Condition.
