Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak C. calcitrans terhadap histopatologi usus ikan mas (C. carpio) yang diinfeksi bakteri A. salmonicida dan mengetahui dosis terbaik dari pemberian ekstrak C. calcitrans terhadap histopatologi usus ikan mas (C. carpio) yang diinfeksi bakteri A. salmonicida. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan (A=0,3 ppm, B=15,3 ppm, C=30,3 ppm, D=45,3 ppm) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Ikan mas yang digunakan sebanyak 210 ekor dengan ukuran 5 – 7 cm. Ikan mas diinfeksi bakteri A. salmonicida dengan kepadatan 107 cfu/ml. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengobatan menggunakan ekstrak C. calcitrans sesuai perlakuan. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pemberian ekstrak C. calcitrans dengan dosis 45,3 ppm memberikan pada perlakuan D memberikan pengaruh terhadap histopatologi usus ikan mas (C. carpio) yang dibuktikan melalui kerusakan kongesti dengan nilai regresi y = 2,2479 – 0,0262x dan R2 = 0,932, edema dengan nilai regresi y = 2,9348 - 0,027x dan R2 = 0,8505, nekrosis dengan nilai regresi y = 2,7983 – 0,0387x dan R2 = 0,935 dan atropi vili dengan nilai regresi y = 2,9395 – 0,0427x dan R2 = 0,962. Parameter kualitas air menunjukkan kondisi yang baik untuk pertumbuhan ikan mas (C. carpio) yaitu suhu berkisar 25.1 – 26.9 0C, pH berkisar 7.3 – 8.11 dan DO berkisar 5 – 6.6 ppm serta hasil kelulushidupan terbaik adalah 83,33% pada perlakuan D.
English Abstract
The aim of the study was to know the effect of chaetoceros calcitrans extract on histopathology intestine organs of gold fish (Cyprinus carpio) infected by Aeromonas salmonicida bacteria and know the best dose of effect of chaetoceros calcitrans extract on histopathology intestine organs of gold fish (Cyprinus carpio) infected by Aeromonas salmonicida bacteria.This research used experimental method using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. The treatments were (A=0,3 ppm, B=15,3 ppm, C=30,3 ppm, D=45,3 ppm). The gold fish used were 210 fish, around 5-7 cm in size, then infected by Aeromonas salmonicida bacteria with dose 107 cfu/ml. Further treatment was done using the extract of C. calcitrans according to the treatment. The result of this research the influence of the C. calcitrans extract at a dose of 45.3 ppm to give treatment D give effect to histopathology of carp intestine (C. carpio). Which is proven through congestion damage with regression value of y = 2,2479 – 0,0262x and R2 = 0,932, edema of the value regression y =2,9348 - 0,027x and R2 = 0,8505, necrosis with the value of regression y = 2,7983 – 0,0387x and R2 = 0,935 and atropi vili with the value of regression y = 2,9395 – 0,0427x and R2 = 0,962. Water quality parameters show good conditions for the growth of gold fish (C. carpio) temperature renging from 25.1 – 26.9 °C, pH ranged from 7.3 – 8.11 and Dissolved oxygen ranged from 5 – 6.6 ppm as well as the best survival rate results are 83,33% in treatment D
