Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harapan dan motivasi terhadap perilaku wisatawan terhadap tujuan wisata. Harapan dan motivasi diharapkan berpengaruh pada kepuasan, kebahagiaan, kenikmatan, kelayakan, dan daya tarik pengunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik survei dari pengunjung Museum Angkut. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa harapan dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengunjung Sikap terhadap Museum Angkut. Selain itu, hasilnya juga menunjukkan peran lain motivasi sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara harapan dan sikap. Dengan demikian, untuk menjaga sikap wisatawan terhadap tujuan wisata, motivasi dan harapan harus dianggap sebagai salah satu elemen penting.
English Abstract
This study aims at finding out the relationship between expectation and motivation on tourist attitude towards tourism destination. The expectation and motivation are expected to have an effect on visitor’s satisfaction, happiness, enjoyment, worthiness, and attractiveness. This research used primary data collected using a survey technique from the Museum Angkut visitor. The collected data were processed using path analysis. The findings of this study show that expectation and motivation have a significant influence on the visitor Attitude towards Museum Angkut. Moreover, the result also shows another role of motivation in the relationship between expectation and attitude. Thus, to maintain tourist attitudes towards the tourism destination, motivation and expectation should be considered as one of critical elements.
