Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemandirian dengan self-regulated learning pada remaja awal yang bersekolah di SMP boarding school, dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada 150 siswa SMP Al-Yasini Pasuruan. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan skala kemandirian yang disusun berdasarkan teori Steiberg (2010), dan skala self-regulated learning yang disusun berdasarkan teori Zimmerman (1989). Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel yaitu convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian dengan analisis korelasi product moment-Pearson dengan hasil nilai signifikasni sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), dengan korelasi antara variabel kemandirian dengan variabel self-regulated learning, yaitu sebesar 0,645, artinya semakin tinggi kemandirian maka semakin tinggi pula regulasi diri dalam mengatur belajarnya (self-regulated learning) pada remaja awal yang bersekolah di SMP boarding school.

English Abstract

This research aims to find out a relation between autonomy and self-regulated learning of early adolescent at Junior High School of Boarding School, with correlation quantitative research. The researcher collects data from 150 student in Senior High School of Al-Yasini Pasuruan To measure autonomy, this study uses a scale based on theories of Steiberg (2010) and self-regulated learning based on theories Zimmerman (1989).The sampling method used in this study is a convenience sampling. Using product moment-Pearson correlation statistical analysis, with a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), the result of this study indicates that disability between autonomy and self-regulated learning obtain a correlation of 0.645 This result means that there is a positive relationship between variables, in other words, the higher of autonomy, the higher of self-regulated learning which is given to early adolescent at Junior High School of boarding school.
