Abstract
Kebutuhan akan informasi sangatlah penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat pada era globalisasi. Pada era informatika yang sangat kompetitif ini, informasi menjadi sangat penting agar seseorang, masyarakat, suatu institusi/instansi dan negara dapat mempunyai daya saing yang tinggi. Setiap instansi manapun pasti membutuhkan informasi yang akurat demi mengembangkan dan memajukan instansi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peralatan dan koleksi tercetak terhadap intensitas kunjungan perpustakaan SMA Negeri 4 Malang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel yang digunakan ada 3 variabel, yaitu Peralatan (X1), Koleksi Tercetak (X2), dan Intensitas Kunjungan (Y). Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dengan metode Accidental Sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuisioner/angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, serta analisis koefisien korelasi dan determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) analisis pengujian hipotesis secara parsial (sendiri-sendiri) dapat diketahui bahwa variabel peralatan (X1) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap intensitas kunjungan. Sedangkan variabel koleksi tercetak (X2) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap intensitas kunjungan, (2) Variabel peralatan (X1) dan variabel koleksi tercetak (X2) secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap intensitas kunjungan (Y), (3) pada penelitian ini, yang paling berpengaruh adalah koleksi tercetak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam uji t (parsial) yang menunjukkan bahwa koleksi tercetak memiliki thitung sebesar 2,200 yang lebih besar dari ttabel, yaitu sebesar 1,998, dan nilai signifikan 0,030 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05.
English Abstract
The need for information is very important in the life of society in the era of globalization. During this highly competitive informatics era, information becomes very important to a person, society, an institution/agency and the country can have a high competitiveness. Every agency of any surely need precise information by develop and advance these agencies. This research aims to know the influence of the equipment and printed collection towards intensity of a library visit of Public Senior High School 4 of Malang. This research is explanation research with the quantitative approach. Variables used there are 3 variables, the equipment (X1), printed collections (X2), and Visit Intensity (Y). Sampling technique in this research use non probability sampling with Accidental Sampling method. The respondents in this research about 100 people. The data collected by using questionnaire method, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and correlation coefficient analysis and determination. The results of research showed that : (1) Analysis of hypothesis testing partially (singly) it can be seen that equipment variables (X1) does not significantly influence the intensity of visits. While the printed collections variable (X2) significantly influence the intensity of visits, (2) The equipment variables (X1) and printed collectible variables (X2) together have a significant influence on the intensity of visits (Y), (3) In this research, The most influential is the printed collection. This can be seen in the t test (partial) indicating that the printed collection has a tcount of 2,200 greater than the ttable, which is equal to 1.998, and value of significant 0,030 which is smaller than 0.05.
