Abstract
Feed additive bahan pakan tambahan yang diberikan kepada ternak melalui pencampuran pada pakan yang memiliki fungsi meningkatkan efisiensi pakan dan kesehatan. “Hilyses® dan Immunowall®” merupakan feed additive yang tergolong prebiotik yang di dalamnya terkandung nukleotida bebas, peptida, mannanoligosakarida (MOS), dan 1,3-1,6 β-glukan berpotensi digunakan sebagai feed additive. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan “Hilyses® dan Immunowall®” terhadap persentase organ viseral, persentase lemak abdominal dan persentase kolesterol daging ayam pedaging. Materi penelitian ini menggunakan Day Old Chicken (DOC) ayam pedaging strain Ross 308 yang berjumlah 450 ekor dan dipelihara sampai umur 35 hari, terbagi 15 unit penelitian, masing – masing berukuran 50 × 140 × 50 digunakan untuk 8 ekor, untuk tiap unit dilengkapi tempat pakan dan minum. Pakan penelitian di gunakan pakan basal yang disusun sesuai kebutuhan nutrisi ayam pedaging dengan perhitungan Near Infrared Reflctance (NIR). Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah uji biologis pada ternak yang dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yeng terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan yaitu P0 (Pakan basal tanpa Hilyses® dan Immunowall®); P1 (Pakan basal + Hilyses® 0,05%, pakan basal + Immunowall® 0,05%); P2 (Pakan basal + Hilyses® 0,1%, pakan basal + Immunowall® 0,05%). Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisa menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), apabila terdapat pengaruh yang nyata atau sangat nyata dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan’s. Perubahan yang diamati yaitu nilai persentase organ viseral, persentase lemak abdominal, dan persentase kolesteol daging ayam pedaging. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian “Hilyses® dan Immunowall®” pada pakan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P>0,1) terhadap persentase organ viseral, persentase lemak abdominal, dan persentase kolesterol daging. Persentase organ limpa dan gizaard pada organ viseral tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan (P<0,1). Pemberian P1 (0,44±0,03b) sangat berbeda nyata (P<0,1) pada persentase jantung, persentase bobot hati P1 (2,49±0,25b) dan P2 (2,39±0,18b) berbeda nyata (P<,0,1) dibandingkan P0 (2,12±0,06a). Perlakuan yang sama juga menghasilkan pengaruh yang nyata(P<0,5) pada bobot pankreas meskipun tidak segnifikan P1 (1,63±0,08b) dan P2 (1,58±0,06b). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah dengan adanya penambahan prebiotik Hilyses® dan Immunowall® dalam pakan sebagai aditif pakan dapat meningkatkan persentase organ viseral terutama pada jantung, hati, pankreas, juga menurunkan persentase lemak abdominal dan kolestrol daging pada ayam pedaging. Pemberian Hilyses® 0,1% Immunowall® 0,05% mampu memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap persentase organ viseral, persentase lemak abdominal, dan persentase kolesterol daging.
English Abstract
The experiment was intented to investigate effect of prebiotics “Hilyses® and Immunowall®” as feed additive on percentages of visceral organs, abdominal fat and meat cholesterol in broiler. The materials used for this research were 450 unsexed day old chicken (DOC) Ross 308 broiler with average body weight of 43.04 ± 0.9 g/bird with coefficient variation of 2.09% were divided in 15 cages consisted of 30 chickens. The reseach was held in Farm Curug 1 PT. CISF, Serang in the closed house system with ventilation and dimmer system controlled by Skov Dol 339 monitor. The commercial feed used in this experiment with code 611, 612, and 613 produced by PT.CISF and prebiotics “Hilyses® and Immunowall®”. The method was experiment with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) by using 3 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 = basal feed, P1 = basal + Hilyses® 0.05% (days 1-14) + Immunowall® 0.05% (day 15-35), P2 = baal feed + Hilyses® 0.1% (days 1-14) + Immunowall® 0.05% (day 15-35). The variables were percentages of visceral organs, abdominal fat and meat cholesterol in broilers. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) from Completely Randomized Design and if there was significant influent, it was followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range. The results showed that the treatment had significant effect (P>0.1%) percentages of abdominal fat, and percentage meat cholesterol, but there was no significant influent (P<0.05%) on gizzard and spleen percentages. The inclusion of 0,1%"Hilyses® and 0.05% Immunowall®" as feed additive give the best result on percentages of visceral organs, abdominal fat, and meat cholesterol in broiler.
