Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembentukan identitas diri lesbian pada realita sosial di komunitas Virginity Bojonegoro (VIB). Dalam proses pembentukan identitas lesbian pada diri remaja dipengaruhi dari individunmaupun secara sosial. Adapun fokus dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan bagaimana proses terbentuknya identitas lesbian pada diri remaja. Konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep dari Judith Butler tentang pervormatifitas. Pervormative berusaha menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh struktur kepada pembentukan subyek. Sedangkan tindakan performative selalu berubah-ubah yang akhirnya membentuk suatu identitas bagi seseorang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sementara untuk analisis yang dipakai adalah analisisi fenomenologi transdenral. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya seseorang dengan identitas lesbian pada remaja dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Seseorang yang berada di dalam sebuah kelompok akan memiliki kecenderungan untuk memiliki keberanian menunjukkan identitas mereka. Dari hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan pilihan orientasi lesbian pada seseorang dapat muncul karena adanya kelompok yang mendukung orientasi seksual lesbian mereka namun juga dapat hilang jika seseorang itu sudah tidak berada lagi dilingkungan kelompok identitas lesbian.
English Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the formation of lesbian identity of social reality in the community called Virginity Bojonegoro (VIB). The process of establishing lesbian identity in adolescents is influenced by individual and social. The focus subject in this research is to explain how the process of formation of lesbian identity in adolescents. The concept used in this research is Judit Butler’s performativity concept. Performativity tries to explain how the structure influences the formation of the subject. While performative actions are always changing that eventually form human’s identity. The method used in this study is qualitative methods with phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. As for analysis is transenral phenomological analysis. The result of this study is the presence of somebody with lesbian identity in adolescents influenced by environmental factors. A person who is in a group will have a tendency to get the courage showing their identity. From the result of this study, we can infer that the choice of lesbian orientation in human being can appear because of a group that supports their lesbian sexual orientation and it can be lost when they are no longer the part of the group with lesbian identity.
