Abstract
BIAS (Bulan Imunisasi Anak Sekolah) merupakan salah satu stressor yang dapat memicu kecemasan siswa sekolah dasar kelas 1,2,3 terhadap jarum suntik. Kecemasan terjadi karena neurotransmitter terhambat dan menyebabkan endhorpin berkurang sehingga pesan tidak tersampaikan didalam otak. Terapi minuman dingin dari cokelat bubuk hitam mengandung phenylethylalamine sebesar 80% yang berfungsi untuk merangsang otak lebih banyak memproduksi endhorpin. Apabila endhorpin meningkat maka neurotransmitter terhubung kembali dan kecemasan menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pengaruh konsumsi minuman cokelat bubuk hitam dingin untuk menurunkan kecemasan anak terhadap jarum suntik sebelum imunisasi. Desain penelitian ini eksperimen murni dengan pre test post test control group design. Jumlah sampel 36 responden yang terdiri dari 18 kelompok kontrol dan 18 kelompok intervensi. Analisa data menggunakan dependent T-test untuk menguji pre test dan post test pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi. Pada kelompok kontrol didapatkan hasil pretest posttest dengan nilai (sig.0,480) sedangkan pada kelompok intervensi didapatkan nilai (sig.0.006). uji beda dua kelompok tidak berpasangan menggunakan independent t-test yaitu didapatkan data perbedaan pretest kedua kelompok dengan nilai (sig.0,417) sedangkan pada perbedaan posttest kelompok kontrol dan intervensi didapatkan nilai sebesar (sig.0.03) dinyatakan Ho ditolak apabila (p<0.05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini: terdapat pengaruh konsumsi minuman cokelat bubuk hitam dingin untuk menurunkan skor kecemasan anak terhadap jarum suntik sebelum imunisasi. Saran penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan terapi minuman cokelat bubuk hitam dingin sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan dalam mengatasi kecemasan anak sebelum imunisasi BIAS.
English Abstract
Bulan Imunisasi Anak Sekolah (BIAS) or School Immunization Month is one of the stressors that can trigger anxiety of elementary school students in the class of 1,2,3 on the syringe. The anxiety occurs as neurotransmitters are inhibited making the endhorpin decrease so that the message is not delivered to the brain. A therapy using cold drink of black cocoa powder contains phenylethylalamine of 80% which serves to stimulate the brain to produce more endhorpin. When the endhorpin is increased then the neurotransmitter is reconnected and the anxiety is decreased. The purpose of this research was to explain the effect of cold black cocoa powder drinking in reducing the Children’s anxiety on the syringe before immunization. The design of this study was pure experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample was 36 respondents consisting of 18 control groups and 18 intervention groups.The data were analysed by using dependent T-test to figure out the result of pre-test and post-test on control group and intervention group. In the control group it is known that the pre-test and post-test value is sig.0,480, while in the intervention group the value is sig.0.006. The testing on the difference between unpaired two groups was conducted by using independent t-test. It was found that the pretest value of the two groups is sig.0,417, whereas the post-test value is sig.0.03. in this case, the hypothesis is rejected if p <0.05 . The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is cold drink consumption of black cocoa powder influences the reduction of children’s anxiety on the syringe needle before immunization. It is thus suggested to develop cold cocoa powder drinking therapy as one of nursing interventions in overcoming children's anxiety before BIAS immunization.
