Abstract

Transflutrin adalah bahan aktif obat nyamuk one push aerosol dari golongan piretroid. Zat ini dapat masuk ke dalam tubuh melalui sistem pernapasan. Bersama dengan oksigen, transflutrin di dalam tubuh akan diedarkan melalui peredaran darah. Pembuluh darah besar akan mengalirkan darah melalui splenic artery dan masuk ke organ limpa. Adanya transflutrin dapat menyebabkan kerusakan dalam organ limpa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antioksidan Bisakon (bawang tunggal, ginseng, sirsak, cengkeh, binahong) terhadap efek transflutrin sebagai bahan aktif obat nyamuk one push aerosol pada kerusakan organ limpa mencit (Mus musculus). Metode yang digunakan adalah mencit diberi semprotan obat nyamuk one push aerosol tipe-X dengan kandungan transflutrin 25% dan tipe-Y dengan kandungan transflutrin 21,3% selama 20 menit lalu diberi antioksidan dengan cara penyondean. Hal ini dilakukan selama dua puluh satu hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan total yang disebabkan oleh obat nyamuk one push aerosol dapat dikurangi dengan pemberian antioksidan Bisakon. Dosis kelima antioksidan Bisakon (35,55 mg), menurunkan kerusakan total sebesar 10,47%.

English Abstract

Transfluthrin is an active ingredient in one push aerosol mosquito repellent of pyrethroid group. This substance is able to get into the body through respiratory system, then it will be circulated through the body’s blood system with oxygen simultaneously. Large blood vessels transports the blood through splenic artery then get into the spleen. The existence of transfluthrin is able to cause a damage to the spleen. This research aims is to know the influence of Bisakon (Garlic, Ginseng, Soursop, Cloves, Binahong) antioxidant to the effect of transfluthrin, as an active one push aerosol mosquito repellent to the damage of Mice’s spleen (Mus musculus). The method is started by spraying an X-type one push aerosol mosquito repellent containing 25% of transfluthrin and a Y-type one containing 21.3% of transfluthrin for twenty minutes followed by giving antioxidant. Those steps are done for 21 days. The results show that the total damage caused by the one push aerosol mosquito repellent is able to be minimized by the administration of Bisakon antioxidant. The fifth dose (35,55 mg) of Bisakon antioxidant can reduced the damage up to 10.47%.
