Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger sebagai moderator pengaruh social exclusion terhadap perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan desain beetwen subject. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 83 mahasiswa jurusan Psikologi Universitas Brawijaya. Partisipan diminta untuk mengisi skala sensitivity trigger aggressive respon, kemudian diberikan false feedback untuk menimbulkan kondisi exclusion dan perilaku agresif partisipan diukur menggunakan reputation damage procedure. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode t-test untuk menganalisis manipulation check dan menggunakan teknik bootstrap simpel moderator hayes tipe 1 untuk menganalisis hipotesis. Hasil analisis Bootstrap menunjukan bahwa (1) social exclusion tidak sepenuhnya dapat memengaruhi perilaku agresif, dan (2) trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger tidak dapat menjadi moderator dalam pengaruh social exclusion terhadap perilaku agresif.
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger as a moderator of social exclusion influence on aggressive behavior. This research is a quantitative experimental research using beetwen subject design. Participants in this study used 83 students majoring in Psychology Universitas Brawijaya. Participants were asked to fill out the aggressive trigger response sensitivity scale, then false feedback was given to elicit exclusion conditions and aggressive participant behavior was measured using reputation damage procedure. In this research the researcher uses t-test method to analyze manipulation check and use simple bootstrap technique hayes moderator type 1 to analyze hypothesis. The results of Bootstrap analysis show that (1) social exclusion does not fully affect aggressive behavior, and (2) trait sensitivity to aggressive trigger can not be a moderator in the influence of social exclusion on aggressive behavior.
