Abstract

Reaksi hidrodeoksigenasi (HDO) merupakan reaksi gabungan antara hidrogenasi (reduksi ikatan rangkap) dan deoksigenasi (eliminasi atom oksigen) dalam satu tahapan menggunakan katalis. Pada penelitian ini, reaksi HDO senyawa fenol dilakukan dengan menggunaan katalis SiO2-ZrO2 dan Ni/SiO2-ZrO2 menggunakan autoclave oil batch reactor. Reaksi HDO dilakukan pada variasi suhu 150oC, 180oC dan 200oC direaksikan selama 2 jam dalam atmosfer gas H2. Analisis FT-IR terhadap produk HDO pada suhu 180oC menunjukkan munculnya gugus fungsi C=O keton pada 1699 cm-1. Hasil analisis pola fragmentasi MS diprediksikan produk HDO adalah 2-sikloheksen-1-on.

English Abstract

Hydrodeoxigenation reaction (HDO) is a one-step reaction of hydrogenation (reduction of double bonds) and deoxygenation (elimination of oxygen atoms) using single catalyst. In this study, the HDO of phenol was conducted by SiO2-ZrO2 and Ni/SiO2-ZrO2 catalyst in an autoclave oil batch reactor. The HDO reaction was carried out at 150°C, 180°C and 200°C reacted for 2 hours in the H2 gas atmosphere. FT-IR analysis of HDO products at 180°C indicates the presence of a C=O ketone at 1699 cm-1. The analysis of MS pattern predicted that the product is 2-cyclohexen-1-one.
