Abstract
Lapangan panasbumi Cut Sofia terletak di Sumatera Selatan. Lapangan panasbumi di daerah tersebut ditandai dengan adanya manifestasi panasbumi (mata air panas) bertemperatur 40°C – 92.5 ˚C. Salah satu metode geofisika yang digunakan untuk survei panasbumi adalah metode magnetotellurik. Sistem panasbumi dapat diketahui berdasarkan persebaran nilai tahanan jenis dan ditunjang dengan data geologi dan geokimia. Penelitian menggunakan 19 titik pengukuran metode magnetotellurik. Berdasarkan hasil persebaran nilai tahanan jenis pada daerah panasbumi Cut Sofia menunjukkan adanya keberadaan clay cap yang tersebar di daerah baratdaya dari wilayah penelitian yang ditandai dengan nilai tahanan jenis < 10 ohm.m pada kedalaman 0 hingga 1000 m, reservoar dengan nilai tahanan jenis 23 - 182 ohm.m pada kedalaman 1000 - 2000 meter dan sumber panas dengan nilai tahanan jenis > 300 ohm.m.
English Abstract
Geothermal field Cut Sofia is located on the South Sumatera. Geothermal field in the area indicated by geothermal manifestation (hot spring) with temperature 40°C - 92.5°C. One of geophysical method used on geothermal survey is magnetotelluric. Geothermal system can be identified based on distribution of resistivity value and supported by geology and geochemistry. The process uses 19 measurement data of magnetotelluric method. Based on distribution of resistivity value on the geothermal area Cut Sofia known that clay cap distributed in the southwestern region of the study area with resistivity value < 10 ohm.m at depths of 0 to 1000 m, reservoir with 23 - 182 ohm.m at depths of 1000 - 2000 m, and heat source with resistivity value > 300 ohm.m.
