Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menentukan profil kualitas fisika-kimia, struktur komunitas dan keanekaragaman fitoplankton di perairan Waduk Wonorejo serta menentukan kualitas perairan tersebut berdasarkan beberapa indeks biotik dari fitoplankton. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan purposive random sampling berdasarkan inlet dan outlet dari Waduk Wonorejo. Data komposisi dan kelimpahan fitoplankton digunakan untuk menghitung K, F, KR, FR, INP, H’, ID, D, E, DMg, Saprobity Index, Tropic Diatom Index (TDI) dan Pollution Tolerant Value (%PTV). Parameter fisika-kimia air yang diukur meliputi pH, suhu, dissolved oxygen, konduktivitas, turbiditas, intensitas cahaya dan kecerahan. Cluster dan biplot dengan software PAST 2.16 dan uji beda ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) serta uji lanjutan Tukey HSD dengan software SPSS 18.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan Perda Provinsi Jatim No. 2 Tahun 2008 kualitas fisika-kimia air Waduk Wonorejo termasuk kedalam kelas II yang masih memenuhi untuk aktivitas pertanian, perikanan dan lain-lain. Hasil identifikasi fitoplankton ditemukan 59 spesies. Jenis fitoplankton Staurastrum paradoxum dominan di semua lokasi pengamatan. Berdasarkan indeks diversitas H’, D dan DMg perairan Waduk Wonorejo tergolong tercemar bahan toksik tingkat sedang. Hasil Indeks Biotik saprobik menunjukkan status polisaprobik pada inlet dari Sungai Song, tengah waduk II dan outlet waduk, sedangkan pada inlet dari Sungai Bodeng, Sungai Jambu, Sungai Putih dan Tengah Waduk I memiliki status saprobik yang lebih baik yaitu β-saprobik. Berdasarkan nilai TDI ketujuh lokasi termasuk dalam keadaan eutrofik kecuali pada inlet dari Sungai Song dan outlet waduk memiliki status hiper-eutrofik sehingga kualitasnya lebih buruk. Hasil %PTV menunjukkan pencemaran organik di semua lokasi perairan Waduk Wonorejo.

English Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the physico-chemical parameters of water, and determine the community structure and diversity of phytoplankton in Wonorejo Reservoir based on several biotic index of phytoplankton. Selection of each research location using purposive random sampling based on inlet and outlet from Wonorejo Reservoir. Data composition and abundance of phytoplankton use for community structure analysis (K, F, KR, FR, INP) and biotic index ( H ', ID, D, E, DMg, Saprobity Index, Tropic Diatom Index (TDI) and Pollution Tolerant Value (% PTV ). Water physico-chemical parameters include pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity, light intensity and brightness. Data was analyzed Cluster and biplot analysis using PAST 2.16 and ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) then continued by Tukey HSD test using SPSS 18.0. The results showed, based on East Java Provincial Regulation no. 2 Year 2008 water physics-chemical qualities Wonorejo reservoir belongs to class II which still fulfill for agriculture activity, fishery and others. The result of phytoplankton identification was found 59 species. There dominance of Staurastrum paradoxum in all observation sites. Based on the diversity index of H ', D and DMg waters of Wonorejo Reservoir classified as toxic material of moderate level. Result from Saprobic biotic index indicate the presence of polisapobric on Song River, the middle of reservoir II and the outlet, while the Bodeng River, Jambu River, Putih River and the middle of reservoir I have better saprobic status that is β-saprobic. Based on the value of TDI from seven location is included in eutrophic state except on Song River and the outlet that have hyper-eutrophic status so that its quality was worse. Result of %PTV shows organic contamination in all waters location of Wonorejo reservoir.
