Abstract

Kota Balikpapan merupakan kota yang memiliki potensi wisata yang beragam, namun masih belum optimal terkati dengan paket perjalanan wisata. Potensi yang dimiliki Kota Balikpapan berupa wisata alam, budaya dan belanja. Dalam RTRW Kota Balikpapan Tahun 2012-2032 yaitu Balikpapan berfungsi sebagai pusat wisata MICE, akomodasi, informasi, dan seni suku dayak. Kota Balikpapan sendiri dikembangkan sebagai daerah tujuan wisata hutan kota dan wisata bahari. Dalam usaha pengembangan wisata di masa yang akan datang, di butuhkannya pengelolahan wisata yang terpadu. Salah satunya yaitu perencaanaan paket wisata Kota Balikpapan dengan tujuan mendatangkan wisatawan baik wisatawan domestik maupun macanegara. Di Kota Balikpapan belum tesedianya paket wisata yang ditawarkan oleh jasa/biro perjalanan. oleh karena itu perencanaan paket wisata sangan diperlukan untuk mendukung pengembangan pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: a. mengidentifikasi potensi wisata yang ada di Kota Balikpapan untuk mendukung perencanaan paket wisata, b. menganalisis rute perjalanan wisata potensial sebagai pertimbangan dalam perencanaan paket wisata, dan c. dan menyusun rencana paket wisata yang sesuai dengan potensi wisata, karakteristik wisatawan dan berdasarkan rute perjalanan wisata potensial. Metode analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mengetahui karakteristik wisata, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisa rute perjalanan wisata dan lama perjalanan; dan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisa potensi wisata dan karakteristik wisatawan. Terkait dengan pengadaan paket wisata di Kota Balikpapan, obyek wisata potensial, karakteristik wisata, dan rute wisata potensial dijadikan sebagai dasar merencanakan sebuah paket wisata. Untuk mengetahui rute perjalanan potensial digunakan market basket analaysis yang terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan, yakni: analisis asosiasi, penggunaan algoritmma, dan keranjang belanja. Rute perjalanan wisata yang di peroleh yaitu 5 rute perjalanan wisata. Rencana paket wisata di Kota Balikpapan di dapatkan 3 jenis paket wisata, yakni; paket wisata rekreasi, paket wisata budaya, dan paket wisata bauran yang di kemas dalam paket wisata fullday trip dan 2H 1M.

English Abstract

The city of Balikpapan is a city that has a diverse tourism potential, but still not optimally blessed with travel packages. The potential of the city of Balikpapan in the form of natural attractions, culture and shopping. In RTRW Balikpapan City Year 2012-2032 is Balikpapan serves as a center of MICE tourism, accommodation, information, and the art of Dayak tribe. Balikpapan city itself was developed as a tourist destination for urban forest and marine tourism. In the business of tourism development in the future, in need pengelolahan integrated tourism. One of them is planning tourism package of Balikpapan City with the aim of bringing tourists both domestic and foreign tourists. In the city of Balikpapan has not been tested tour packages offered by services / travel agency. Therefore the planning of tour packages is needed to support the development of tourism. This study aims to: a. Identify tourism potential in Balikpapan City to support tourism package planning b. Analyze potential travel route as a consideration in planning tour packages, and c. And devise a package tour plan that fits with tourism potential, tourist characteristics and based on potential travel route. Descriptive analysis method is used to know the characteristics of tourism, with quantitative approach to analyze the travel and travel journey; And a qualitative approach to analyze tourism potential and tourist characteristics. Related to the procurement of tour packages in the city of Balikpapan, potential tourist attractions, tourist characteristics, and potential tourist routes serve as the basis for planning a tour package. To know the potential travel route used market basket analaysis which is divided into 3 stages, namely: association analysis, use algorithmma, and shopping cart. The route of the tour is 5 routes of travel. Plan a tour package in the city of Balikpapan in get 3 types of tour packages, namely; Recreational tour packages, cultural tour packages, and mixed tour packages packed in fullday trip and 2H 1M travel packages.
