Abstract
UD Tohu merupakan suatu UKM manufaktur yang berlokasi di desa Junrejo, Batu. Jenis produk yang dihasilkan adalah produk kerajinan kayu dengan menggunakan papan, contohnya seperti rak dan box laci. UD Tohu melakukan produksi sesuai dengan karakteristik dari pesanan pelanggan. Salah satu permasalahan pada UD Tohu adalah lamanya proses perhitungan harga jual, pencarian data harga pokok bahan, dan transaksi penjualan. Hal ini terjadi karena proses perhitungan pada perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu menggunakan kertas, pensil dan kalkulator, padahal perusahaan memiliki dua fasilitas komputer. Serta metode perhitungan perusahaan yang dirasa kurang efektif, karena banyak bagian biaya yang belum dimasukkan pada metode perhitungan. Salah satu cara untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut adalah dengan merancang sebuah software aplikasi penentuan harga jual dengan metode job order costing. Job Order Costing merupakan metode perhitungan harga pokok produksi perusahaan berdasarkan pesanan dari konsumen. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun prototype berbasis metode Job order costing dengan microsoft excel, kemudian membandingkan perhitungan harga jual berdasarkan metode perusahaan dan metode job order costing untuk mengetahui metode yang baik untuk perusahaan. Program aplikasi sangat membantu dalam melakukan perhitungan harga jual, menyimpan data secara integrasi dan dapat mengefisiensikan ruang dan waktu yang digunakan. Aplikasi ini dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna dengan menggunakan tools System Requirement Checklist, desain algoritma dan desain Graphical User Interface. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan selisih perhitungan harga jual sebesar Rp 77.050 atau 4% untuk pesanan 25 rak mickey dan Rp 67.620 atau 5% untuk pesanan 15 box laci. Hal tersebut terjadi karena metode perusahaan tidak memasukkan biaya overhead pada perhitungannya sehingga laba yang didapat tidak sesuai dengan keinginan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu peneliti menyarankan penggunakan metode job order costing dalam melakukan perhitungan harga jual diperusahaan UD Tohu. Dihasilkan juga Prototype sistem informasi yang memiliki enam menu, yaitu menu utama, menu identitas pelanggan, menu tansaksi penjualan, menu hasil transaksi, menu pembelian, dan menu laporan. Prototype yang dirancang sudah memenuhi uji verifikasi, uji validasi dan uji prototype.
English Abstract
UD Tohu is a SME (Small and Middle Entrepreneurship) manufacture, located in the village of Junrejo, Batu. The type of product produced is a wood handicraft using boards, for instance like shelves and drawers. UD Tohu performs production according to the characteristics of customer’s orders. One of the problems in UD Tohu is in the length of calculating the selling price, search of the materials’ cost, and the dealings process. This happens because the calculation process in the company is still done manually with paper, pencil and calculator, when the company actually has two computers. The company's calculation method seems less effective for researcher, because many parts of the cost has not been included in the calculation method. One of the way to solve the problem is by designing an application software for determining the selling price by job order costing method. Job Order Costing is a method of calculating the cost of production of a company based on orders from consumers. This research is designing and building a prototype based on job order costing method using Microsoft Excel, then comparing the calculation of selling price based on company’s method and job order costing method in determining the best applicable method within the company. Application program is very helpful in calculating the selling price, storing data in an integration and efficient in space and time. This application is designed based on user needs using System Requirement Checklist tools, algorithm design and Graphical User Interface design. The results of this study obtained the deviation in the calculation of the selling price, with Rp 77,050 or 4% for the order of 25 mickey shelves and Rp 67.620 or 5% for the order of 15 drawers. This is occurred because the company's method does not include the overhead cost on the calculation causing the profits being not in accordance to the company’s wishes. Therefore, the researcher recommends the use of job order costing method in calculating the selling price of UD Tohu. Also generated an information system Prototype that has six menus, i.e. the main menu, customer identity menu, transaction sales menu, transaction result menu, purchase menu, and report menu. The prototype designed has already meets the verification test, validation test and prototype test.
