Abstract
Salah satu masalah persampahan TPS di Kecamatan Klojen adalah hampir seluruh TPS masih menggunakan sistem kumpul – angkut – buang dan belum ada sistem pengolahan untuk mengurangi sampah yang akan dibuang menuju pembuangan akhir dimana dengan sistem yang berjalan selama ini sampah di TPS tidak direduksi terlebih dahulu dan langsung di angkut menuju pembuangan akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar potensi reduksi sampah yang ada di tiap TPS dengan adanya penambahan sarana pengolahan sampah. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis mass balance untuk mengetahui reduksi sampah di tiap TPS. Analisis kinerja operasional persampahan TPS untuk mengetahui kesesuaian TPS berdsarkan standar. Analisis kebutuhan sarana pengolahan sampah untuk mengetahui metode pengolahan sampah yang cocok untuk ditambahkan pada TPS yang sesuai dengan standar. Kemudian dihitung lagi dengan menggunakan analisis mass balance untuk mengetahui perbedaan reduksi sampah sebelum dan sesudah adanya penambahan pengolahan sampah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan 3 dari 7 TPS di Kecamatan dapat ditambahan sarana pengolahan sampah yaitu TPS Seram, TPS Rampal Celaket, dan TPS Wilis dengan reduksi masing masing TPS dapat naik sebesar 6,08%, 4,89%, dan 2,97% setelah adanya sarana pengolahan sampah.
English Abstract
One of wasting problems in Kecamatan Klojen’s transfer points is that most of the transfer points there still use collect-carry-send system and there is no processing system to decrease waste that will be thrown straight to the landfill. The system which have been running all this time is that the waste in transfer points is not reducted first and is directly lifted to final landfill. The goal of this research is to know the trash reduction potential in every transfer points which is added with trash processing facility. This study used mass balance analysis to know the waste reduction in every transfer points. Operational performance analysis of transfer points is used to know whether the suitability of transfer point has reached standard. Facility needs analysis of waste processing is implemented to know the most suitable waste processing method that could be added to the standard transfer point. Then, it is calculated again by using mass balance analysis to know the difference of reduction before and after waste processing facility is added. The result of the finding showed that 3 of 7 transfer points in Kecamatan Klojen could be added with waste processing facility such as in Seram transfer point, Rampal Celaket transfer point, and Wilis transfer point with the number of each reduction increase as much as 6.08%, 4.89%, and 2.97% after the waste processing facilities were added.
