Abstract
Klenteng Sumber Naga Probolinggo terletak di daerah pecinan, Kecamatan Mayangan, Kota Probolinggo merupakan bangunan suci sekaligus sebagai objek wisata religi bagi orang Tionghoa. Adanya keanekaragaman aktivitas ritual yang dilaksanakan di klenteng tersebut, berpengaruh pada pemanfaatan ruangnya. Adanya pemanfaatan ruang pada ritual tertentu dapat membentuk ruang ritual bersifat temporer. Dimana pada intensitas waktu yang berbeda ruang yang semula bersifat profan dapat berubah menjadi sakral. Hal ini mempengaruhi terbentuknya teritori ruang ritualnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang diawali dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan secara langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian menganalisis variabel dan sub variabel dilapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat dua jenis aktivitas ritual di Klenteng Sumber Naga Probolinggo, yakni ritual budaya dan agama. Pada ritual budaya, teritori yang terbentuk adalah teritori primer dan sekunder. Sedangkan teritori yang terbentuk pada aktivitas ritual agama adalah teritori primer, sekunder dan tersier.
English Abstract
Temple of Sumber Naga Probolinggo is located in Mayangan District, Probolinggo City is a sacred building as well as a religious tourism object for the Chinese people. The diversity of ritual activities carried out in the temple, has an effect on the utilization of space. The existence of space utilization in certain rituals can form a temporary ritual space. Where at different time intensity the original space profane can turn into sacred. This affects the formation of ritual space territory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which begins with data collection through direct field observation, interview and documentation. Then analyze the variables and sub variables in the field. The results showed, there are two types of ritual activities in the Temple of Sumber Naga Probolinggo, the ritual of culture and religion. In cultural rituals, the territories formed are the primary and secondary territories. While the territory is formed on religious ritual activity is the primary territory, secondary and tertiary.
