Abstract

ICU merupakan ruangan khusus yang disediakan rumah sakit untuk merawat pasien dengan penyakit dan cedera serius atau mengancam jiwa yang membutuhkan perawatan konstan, pemantauan ketat terhadap peralatan pendukung kehidupan dan obat-obatan untuk memastikan fungsi tubuh yang normal. ICU sebagai rujukan tertinggi internal rumah sakit apabila di ruang perawatan biasa tidak mampu lagi menangani kasus tertentu, tidak jarang pasien harus antri untuk mendapatkan layanan di ICU. Menurut survery data nasional, tingginya angka kejadian VAP juga disebabkan karena kurang patuhnya menjaga sterilisasi, pelaksanaan SOP (Standart operation procedure) pada pasien dengan ventilator, dan ventilator bundle yang tidak dipenuhi serta cara suction (penyedotan liur lewat selang nafas) masih kurang sesuai. Di RSUD dr Mohammad Zyn Sampang, terjadi kesenjangan kompetensi perawat ICU yang telah dianalisa pada studi pendahuluan di bulan Agustus hingga November 2022. Kegiatan tersebut menyimpulkan begitu besar kesenjangan keperawatan klinis perawat ICU terhadap pedoman standar pelayanan minimal oleh departemen kesehatan.

English Abstract

ICU is a special room provided by a hospital to treat patients with serious or lifethreatening illness and injuries who require constant care, close monitoring of life support equipment and medications to ensure normal body functions. The ICU is highest internal hospital referral if the usual treatment room is no longer able to handle certain cases, it is not uncommon for patients to have to queue to get services in the ICU. According to a national data survey, the high incidence of VAP was also due to lack of adherence to sterilization, implementation of SOP (Standard operation procedure) in patients with ventilators and ventilator bundles that were not met and the method of suction (suction of saliva through a breathing tube) was still not appropriate at dr.Mohammad Zyn Sampang Hospital, there is gap in clinical nursing for ICU nurses against the minimum service standard guidelines by the health department.
