Abstract

Sumber daya manusia menjadi salah satu aset penting perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaan karena berperan sebagai pelaku, perencana sekaligus sebagai penentu maju atau mundurnya suatu perusahaan. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan juga perlu memperhatikan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan sumber daya manusia, salah satunya yaitu job satisfaction. Job satisfaction menjadi aspek yang perlu mendapat perhatian khusus karena karyawan yang merasa puas akan lebih betah di tempat kerja dan berkomitmen dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Berdasarkan data PwC di tahun 2023 menunjukkan adanya tingkat job satisfaction yang baik di beberapa wilayah dan sebesar 75% karyawan di Indonesia telah merasa puas terhadap pekerjaan mereka saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh Beban Kerja dan Work-Life Balance terhadap Job Satisfaction pada perbankan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Beban Kerja (X1), Work-Life Balance (X2), dan Job Satisfaction (Y). Hipotesis (1) Beban Kerja berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Job Satisfaction, (2) Work-Life Balance berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Job Satisfaction, (3) Beban Kerja dan Work-Life Balance berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap Job Satisfaction. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 83 karyawan tetap. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan metode simple random sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan tetap BRI Kanwil Malang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda yang diolah menggunakan software SPSS 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel Beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Job Satisfaction, Work-Life Balance berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap Job Satisfaction, dan Beban Kerja dan Work-Life Balance berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap Job Satisfaction.

English Abstract

Human resource becomes one of the most important assets of the company in achieving the company's goals because it acts as a perpetrator, planner as well as a determinant of the advancement or retreat of a company. Therefore, the company also needs to pay attention to things related to human resources, one of them is job satisfaction. Job satisfaction becomes an aspect that needs to get attention because employees who feel satisfied will be better at work and are committed to the achievement of organizational goals. According to PwC data in 2023, there is a good job satisfaction rate in some regions and as much as 75% of employees in Indonesia are satisfied with their current job. This research aims to find out and explain how workload and work-life balance influence job satisfaction on banking. This research uses an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. The variables used in this study are Workload (X1), Work-Life Balance (X2), and Job Satisfaction (Y). The hypothesis is that (1) Workload has a partially significant influence on job satisfaction, (2) Work-life Balance has a partially significant influence on job satisfaction, (3) Workload and Work- Life Balance have a simultaneously significant influence on job satisfactions. The total sample in this study was 83 permanent employees. The samples were taken using a simple random sampling method based on the Slovin formula. The data used is primary data through a questionnaire that is distributed to the permanent employees of BRI Regional Office Malang. The data analysis technique used in this research is double linear regression analysis processed using SPSS 25 software. The results of the analysis showed that the Workload variable had a significant effect partially on Job Satisfaction, the Work-Life Balance had a significant effect partially on Job Satisfaction, and the Workload and Work-Life Balance had simultaneously a significant effect on Job Satisfaction.
