Abstract

Saat ini hamper seluruh motor pembakaran dalam menggunakan siklus 4 langkah Otto. Alasan utama siklus 4 langkah Otto lebih diminati dari siklus 2 langkah Otto adalah kehematan bahan bakarnya.Oleh karena itu dapat dibuat deduksi bahwa motor bakar 6 langkah lebih hemat dari motor bakar 4 langkah Otto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan motor bakar enam langkah berbasis 3 kali pengapian.Salah satu cara faktor yang mempengaruhi performa motor bakar yaitu bukaan throttle. Dalam teori fungsi throttle sebagai pengatur jumlah campuran udara dan bahan bakar yang masuk ke ruang bakar, semakin besar bukaan throttle maka semakin banyak campuran udara yang akan disuplai ke silinder motor bakar. Dengan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh bukan throttle terhadap unjuk kerja motor bakar 6 langkah dengan sistem injeksi, maka pada penelitian ini motor bakar 6 langkah menggunakan variasi 1 (bukaan throttle 35%), variasi 2 (bukaan throttle 30%), variasi 3 (bukaan throttle 25%). Dengan interval putaran 600 rpm. Unjuk kerja dari motor bakar 6 langkah dinilai dari torsi, daya efektif, SFCe dan efisiensi termal. Hasil yang didapat dalam pengujian ini ialah, dimana torsi terbesar dihasilkan oleh variasi 1 yaitu sebesar 0.60 kg.m pada putaran 4200 rpm, daya efektif terbesar dihasilkan oleh variasi 1 yaitu pada putaran 6000 rpm sebesar 3.79 hp, konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik efektif terendah dihasilkan oleh variasi 2 yaitu pada putaran 4200 rpm sebesar 0.133 kg/hp.h, efisiensi thermal efektif terbesar dihasilkan pada variasi 2 yaitu pada putaran 4200 rpm sebesar 44.85%.

English Abstract

Currently almost all internal combustion motors use Otto 4-stroke. The main reason Otto's 4-stroke is more desirable than Otto's 2-stroke is its fuel savings. Therefore it can be deduced that the combustion motor is 6 steps more efficient than 4 stroke engine Otto motor. This study aims to develop six-stroke combustion engine based 3 times ignition. One way factor that affects the performance of the combustion engine is throttle opening. In the throttle function theory as a regulator of the amount of air and fuel mixture entering the combustion chamber, the larger the throttle opening the more air mixture will be supplied to the motor cylinder. By knowing how the non-throttle effect on the performance of the 6-stroke fuel motor with the injection system, in this study the 6-stroke fuel uses variation 1 (throttle opening 35%), variation 2 (throttle opening 30%), variation 3 (throttle opening 25 %). With round intervals of 600 rpm. The performance of a 6-stroke fuel motor is rated from torque, effective power, SFCe and thermal efficiency. The result in these test were is, in which the greatest torque produced by the first variation in the amount of 0.67 kg.m in round of 4200 rpm. The largest effective power generated by thefirst variation, at 6000 rom of 3.79 hp. Specific fuel consumption produced the lowest efective by second variation at 4200 rpm amounting to 0.133 kg/hp.h, the largest effevective thermal efficiency generated by second variation, which at 4200 rpm amount to 44.85%
