Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Bangun Sejahtera merupakan KWT yang berada di Kelurahan Burengan, Kecamatan Pesantren, Kota Kediri yang mempunyai bidang usaha pertanian khususnya komoditas sayuran organik yang meliputi kegiatan produksi dan kegiatan pemasaran. Dalam menjalankan usahanya, KWT Bangun Sejahtera mengalami berbagai permasalahan yang bersumber dari internal maupun eksternal seperti kapasitas produksi yang terbatas dan risiko serangan OPT. Berbagai permasalahan tersebut jika tidak ditindaklanjuti akan berpotensi mengancam keberlanjutan usaha. Oleh karenanya diperlukan adanya analisis kondisi lingkungan bisnis dan perumusan alternatif strategi dalam upaya mengembangkan usaha sayuran organik milik KWT Bangun Sejahtera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui faktor internal dan eksternal yang berperan dan berkaitan dalam pengembangan usaha sayuran organik KWT Bangun Sejahtera di Kota Kediri dan 2) Mengetahui strategi pengembangan usaha sayuran organik KWT Bangun Sejahtera di Kota Kediri. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Mix Method. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada Kelompok Wanita Tani Bangun Sejahtera di Kelurahan Burengan, Kecamatan Pesantren, Kota Kediri. Penentuan key informant dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu judgement sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Matriks IFE, Matriks EFE, Matriks Internal-External (IE), Matriks Grand Strategy, Matriks SWOT, dan QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 10 faktor internal dan 8 faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi usaha sayuran organik. Berdasarkan nilai skor Matriks IFE, faktor kekuatan dan kelemahan terbesar yaitu sudah menjalankan aktivitas pemasaran (+ 0,486) dan pemasaran yang masih terbatas (- 0,342). Berdasarkan nilai skor Matriks EFE, faktor peluang dan ancaman terbesar yaitu adanya dukungan dari DKPP Kota Kediri dan pemerintah setempat (+ 0,489) dan sayuran rentan terhadap serangan OPT (- 0,519). Hasil Matriks IE menujukkan usaha sayuran organik berada dalam sel IV yaitu dalam posisi “Grow and Build”. Hasil Matriks Grand Strategy menunjukkan posisi usaha sayuran organik dalam Kuadran I yaitu dalam fase “Grow”. Hasil perumusan Matriks SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi S-O merupakan alternatif strategi terbaik yang dapat dipilih. Hasil analisis QSPM menunjukkan terdapat tiga alternatif strategi yang dapat dipilih yaitu strategi pengembangan pasar, strategi integrasi, dan strategi diversifikasi produk. Strategi pengembangan pasar dengan berfokus pada budidaya dan pemasaran sayuran dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi dan disukai pelanggan merupakan strategi yang paling disukai dengan nilai daya tarik total 6,666.

English Abstract

The Bangun Sejahtera Women Farmers Group (KWT) is a KWT located in Burengan Village, Pesantren District, Kediri City which has an agricultural business sector, especially organic vegetable commodities which includes production activities and marketing activities. In running its business, KWT Bangun Sejahtera experiences various problems originating from internal and external sources such as limited production capacity and the risk of pest attacks. If these various problems are not followed up, they will potentially threaten business sustainability. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the conditions of the business environment and formulate alternative strategies in an effort to develop KWT Bangun Sejahtera's organic vegetable business. This research aims to 1) Find out the internal and external factors that play a role and are related to the development of the KWT Bangun Sejahtera organic vegetable business in Kediri City and 2) Find out the strategy for developing the KWT Bangun Sejahtera organic vegetable business in Kediri City. The research was conducted using a Mix Method approach. The location of the research was the Bangun Sejahtera Farming Women's Group in Burengan Village, Pesantren District, Kediri City. Determining key informants was carried out using a purposive sampling method, namely judgement sampling. Data collection was carried out using interviews and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out using the IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, Internal-External (IE) Matrix, Grand Strategy Matrix, SWOT Matrix, and QSPM approaches. The research results show that there are 10 internal factors and 8 external factors that influence the organic vegetable business. Based on the IFE Matrix score, the biggest strength and weakness factors are already carrying out marketing activities (+ 0.486) and marketing which is still limited (- 0.342). Based on the EFE Matrix score, the biggest opportunity and threat factors are support from the Kediri City DKPP and local government (+ 0.489) and vegetables are vulnerable to pest attacks (- 0.519). The results of the IE Matrix show that the organic vegetable business is in cell IV, namely in the "Grow ad Build" position. The results of the Grand Strategy Matrix show the position of the organic vegetable business in Quadrant I, namely in the "Grow" phase. The results of the SWOT Matrix formulation show that the S-O strategy is the best alternative strategy that can be chosen. The results of the QSPM analysis show that there are three alternative strategies that can be chosen, namely market development strategy, integration strategy, and product diversification strategy. A market development strategy that focuses on cultivating and marketing vegetables with high economic value and favored by customers is the most preferred strategy with a total attractiveness value of 6.666.
