Abstract
Room attendant merupakan salah satu bagian dari housekeeping dapartement di hotel. Secara umum, tanggung jawab seorang room attendant adalah seputar kebersihan kamar yang ada di sebuah hotel. Seperti memberikan kerapian, keindahan, kebersihan dan mengatur kelengkapan seluruh kamar termasuk juga seluruh area umum lainnya agar seluruh tamu dan karyawan dapat merasa aman dan nyaman di dalam hotel. Room attendant mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar untuk meningkatkan image hotel secara keseluruhan. Bila beban kerja terlalu tinggi maka kinerja karyawan departemen hotel akan berdampak negatif pada turunnya tingkat hunian kamar hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui beban kerja karyawan di departeman tatagraha pada hotel The 1O1 Hotel Malang OJ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis yaitu metodologi analisisdeskriptif, yaitu suatu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan, menyajikan dan menganalisis data agar dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai objek yang akan diteliti sehingga dapat disimpulkan. Berdasarkan darihasilUji T menunjukan bahwa variabel independen menunjukkan hasil nilai terhitung 4,052 >tabel serta signifikansi yang didapatkan 0.004 (p < 0,05) dapat diartikan bahwa secara parsial beban kerja berpengaruh signifikan pada kinerja. Maka Semakin baik penentuan beban kerja maka semakin baik pula kinerja yang dihasilkan oleh room attendant di The 1O1 Hotel Malang OJ.
English Abstract
Room attendant is one part of the house keeping department at the hotel. In general, the responsibility of a room attendant is around the cleanliness of rooms in a hotel. Such as providing neatness, beauty, cleanliness and arranging the completeness of all rooms including all other public areas so that all guests and employees can feel safe and comfortable in the hotel. Room attendants have a very big influence to improve the overall image of the hotel. If the workload is too high, the performance of hotel department employees will have a negative impact on decreasing hotel room occupancy rates. The purpose of this study was to determine the workload of employees in the housekeeping department at the 101 Hotel Malang OJ. The research method used by the author is descriptive analysis methodology, which is a research method that aims to collect, present and analyze data in order to provide a clear picture of the object to be studied so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the results of the T test, it shows that the independent variable shows a calculated value of 4.052 > table and a significance of 0.004 (p <0.05) means that partially workload has a significant effect on performance. So the better the workload determination, the better the performance produced by the room attendant at The 1O1 Hotel Malang OJ.
