Abstract
English Abstract
Home devices that are digitally connected to support home residents needs are called smart homes. User behavior data designed to provide home automation is a smart home rule. Most of the smart home systems used today are Centralized Smart Home Systems (CSHS) which store rule data at the master station. This system has a weakness, if single point of failure occurs or the system is not connected to the master station which is responsible for managing the entire system. From this problem, the Distributed Rule Execution Mechanism (DREM) system was developed which allows each device to communicate with each other without connecting to the master station. This research continues previous research which has connected the master station to the internet and distributed rule data to devices. This research focuses on the device layer which is tasked with storing distributed rule data and executing this data so that it can run smart home services. The test results show the success rate of sending and receiving data via MQTT to the master station successfully without any failures so that the execution of smart home services via the master station runs smoothly. Distributed rule data storage was successfully carried out and successfully saved on the correct device. Local communication using the ESP-NOW communication protocol to execute data on the service device by matching the incoming data with the data stored in the EEPROM was successfully carried out so that the data was executed on the correct service device.
