Abstract
Di era yang semakin berkembang ini tentunya dunia pendidikan memerlukan perubahan di berbagai komponen. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menjadi salah satu komponen penting yang harus diperhatikan. Mengacu pada hal tersebut, mahasiswa calon guru tidak hanya disiapkan untuk menjadi pengajar yang kompeten dalam merancang suatu pembelajaran, khususnya mahasiswa calon guru teknologi Informasi yang dibekali ilmu untuk memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi Informasi dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Selain itu mahasiswa calon guru teknologi informasi dituntut untuk menjadi pendidik profesional dalam bidang tersebut. Maka dari itu untuk menjadi tenaga pendidik profesional mahasiswa dibekali keterampilan mengajar yang diberikan pada saat perkuliahan melalui mata kuliah microteaching. Pelaksanaan microteaching memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk melatih keterampilan mengajarnya dengan didampingi oleh dosen, sehingga mahasiswa memiliki bekal keterampilan sebelum terjun ke lapangan. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian dilakukan untuk dapat mencari konsep-konsep yang berhubungan dengan penguasaan keterampilan mengajar pada mata kuliah microteaching oleh mahasiswa calon guru teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk dapat mencari konsep-konsep yang berhubungan dengan penguasaan keterampilan mengajar pada mata kuliah microteaching oleh mahasiswa calon guru teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Grounded Theory yang mana penelitian ini akan menghasilkan teori secara induktif dari kondisi tertentu, serta melakukan wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi – informasi penting terkait konsep yang berhubungan dengan penguasaan keterampilan mengajar. Hasil dari pengumpulan data yang telah dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan 6 informan yang merupakan mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Teknologi informasi ditemukan tiga konsep yang di dalamnya terbagi menjadi beberapa aspek yang berhubungan dengan penguasaan keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa calon guru teknologi informasi. Konsep yang ditemukan antara lain, aspek internal mahasiswa, kesesuaian cara mengajar dosen, dan upaya mandiri mahasiswa. Konsep – konsep yang ditemukan memiliki pengaruhnya masing – masing terhadap penguasaan keterampilan mengajar.
English Abstract
In this increasingly developing era, the world of education certainly requires changes in various components. Implementation of learning is an important component that must be considered. Referring to this, student teacher candidates are not only prepared to become competent teachers in designing learning, especially information technology teacher candidate students who are equipped with the knowledge to utilize developments in information technology to achieve learning goals. Apart from that, prospective information technology teacher students are required to become professional educators in this field. Therefore, to become professional educators, students are equipped with teaching skills that are given during lectures through microteaching courses. The implementation of microteaching provides an opportunity for students to practice their teaching skills accompanied by lecturers, so that students have skills before entering the field. Therefore, research was conducted to find concepts related to the mastery of teaching skills in microteaching courses by information technology teacher candidates. This research was conducted to find concepts related to the mastery of teaching skills in microteaching courses by prospective Information Technology teacher students. This research is qualitative research with a Grounded Theory approach where this research will produce theories inductively from certain conditions, as well as conducting interviews to obtain important information related to concepts related to mastery of teaching skills. The results of data collection carried out through interviews with 6 informants who were students of the Information Technology Education study program found three concepts which were divided into several aspects related to the mastery of teaching skills for prospective Information Technology teacher students. The concepts found include internal aspects of students, suitability of lecturers' teaching methods, and students' independent efforts. The concepts found have their respective influences on mastery of teaching skills.
