Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh naiknya harga BBM dan tingginya tingkat penggunaan transportasi pribadi di Kabupaten Bogor setiap tahunnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM (X) terhadap intensitas penggunaan transportasi pribadi (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 1,641,604 unit dari jumlah kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor di Kabupaten Bogor. Pengampilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 400 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket atau kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SPSS Versi 22. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh gambaran rata-rata hasil jawaban responden. Variabel kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM (X) diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,35 dan variabel intensitas penggunaan transportasi pribadi (Y) diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,81. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa masyoritas masyarakat Kabupaten Bogor menilai ragu-ragu/netral terhadap kenikan harga BBM (X), dan intensitas penggunaan transportasi pribadi (Y) tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM (X) berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap intensitas penggunaan transportasi pribadi (Y). Berdasarkan analisis korelasi koefisien Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara kebijakan kenaikan harga BBM (X) dengan intensitas penggunaan transportasi pribadi (Y) berkorelasi positif dan memperoleh nilai 0,360 yang dikategorikan rendah. Meskipun kebijakan untuk menaikkan harga BBM diberlakukan, masyarakat lebih memilih menggunakan transportasi pribadi dengan intensitas tinggi walaupun tingkat pengaruh antar kedua variabel tersebut rendah.

English Abstract

This Research is motivated by the increase in fuel prices and the high level of use of private transportation in Bogor Regency every year. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of the fuel price increase policy (X) on the intensity of private transportation use (Y). The population in this study was 1,641,604 units of motor vehicle ownership in Bogor Regency. Sampling using simple random sampling technique as many as 400 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaire techniques or questionnaires distributed to respondents. Based on descriptive analysis obtained an average description of the results of respondent answers. The variable fuel price increase policy (X) obtained an average value of 3.35 and the variable intensity of use of private transportation (Y) obtained an average value of 3.81. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the majority of the people of Bogor Regency rate doubtful/neutral towards the increase in fuel prices (X), and the intensity of the use of private transportation (Y) is high. The results of this study indicate that partially the fuel price increase policy variable (X) has a positive and significant effect on the intensity of private transportation use (Y). Based on the Pearson Product Moment coefficient correlation analysis, it shows that the relationship between the fuel price increase policy (X) and the intensity of private transportation use (Y) is positively correlated and obtained a value of 0.360 which is categorized as low. Even though the policy to increase fuel prices is enforced, people prefer to use private transportation with high intensity even though the level of influence between the two variables is low.
