Abstract
Global Collection merupakan salah satu contoh usaha konveksi yang menyediakan topi, kaos, jaket, training, katelpack, jas lab, jas almamater, seragam sekolah, seragam olahraga, uniform, kaos kaki, sabuk berlogo sekolah, dan perlengkapan wisuda. Global Collection memiliki proses bisnis utama di bidang manajemen stok. Proses bisnis ini terdiri dari proses bisnis persediaan bahan baku dan proses bisnis persediaan produk jadi. Dalam pelaksanaan proses bisnis tersebut ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang memperlambat proses bisnis. Terdapat beberapa permasalah seperti mengidentifikasi barang, memantau persediaan, mengetahui alur perpindahan barang, serta sering terjadinya perbedaan jumlah barang di gudang dan jumlah barang dari hasil penjualan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi proses bisnis serta melakukan perbaikan pada proses bisnis. Langkah pertama pada penelitian ini adalah dengan mengumpulkan data dengan wawancara dan observasi. Kemudian memodelkan proses bisnis menggunakan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan analisis akar permasalahan menggunakan 5 Why’s Analysis untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan tersebut terjadi. Dilanjutkan pada tahap penyusunan rekomendasi perbaikan proses bisnis menggunakan metode Business Process Improvement (BPI) dengan bantuan tools pada BPI yaitu streamlining. Hasil simulasi proses bisnis (as-is) dan rekomendasi (to-be) menunjukkan bahwa proses bisnis rekomendasi (to-be) dapat mempersingkat waktu pemecahan masalah dan menghasilkan rekomendasi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengurangi masalah yang muncul berdasarkan hasil analisis dan evaluasi.
English Abstract
Global Collection is an example of a garment business that provides hats, T-shirts, jackets, training gear, katelpacks, lab coats, alma mater jackets, school uniforms, sports uniforms, work uniforms, socks, school-logoed belts, and graduation supplies. Global Collection primarily operates in the stock management field. The business process includes Persediaan processes for raw materials and finished products. During the execution of these processes, several issues were identified that slowed down and made it inefficient. Issues such as identifying items, monitoring Persediaan, understanding the flow of goods, and frequent discrepancies between warehouse quantities and sales results were identified. Based on these issues, it is necessary to evaluate and improve the business processes. The first step in this research is to collect data through interviews and observations. Next, the business process is modeled using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The subsequent step involves conducting a root cause analysis using the 5 Why’s Analysis to determine the causes of the identified issues. The following stage is the preparation of business process improvement recommendations using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method, assisted by the BPI tool known as streamlining. The results of the current business process simulation (as-is) and the recommended (to-be) processes indicate that the recommended business process (to-be) can shorten problem-solving time and generate applicable recommendations to reduce the identified issues based on the analysis and evaluation results.
