Abstract
Pinky Guard Kota Cilegon adalah waralaba bengkel perawatan yang dimiliki oleh individu. Manajemen usaha yang ada di dalamnya dibentuk mandiri oleh pemilik dan salah satu turunannya adalah proses administrasi berupa pencatatan, pencarian, dan pembaruan data pelanggan. Namun, terdapat permasalahan pada proses administrasi yang masih membutuhkan waktu lama dalam pengerjaannya. Peneliti juga menggali lebih dalam dengan memahami karakteristik dan kebutuhan dari calon pengguna. Kebutuhan pengguna berisi data-data apa saja yang dicatat, dicari, dan diperbarui. Berdasarkan permasalahan, karakteristik, dan kebutuhan tersebut, penelitian ini merancang pengalaman pengguna berbentuk prototipe website dari enam mekanisme yang dianggap dapat membantu mempercepat proses administrasi. Formulir satu halaman dan formulir multi-halaman, infinite scrolling dan pagination pages, serta modal dialog dan nonmodal dialog adalah enam mekanisme tersebut yang didapat dari studi literatur dan referensi. Kemudian, mekanisme-mekanisme tersebut dirancang secara desain dari mulai wireframe, kemudian mockup, lalu terakhir prototipe agar desain rancangan dapat berinteraksi dengan calon pengguna ketika proses pengujian. Proses pengujian dilakukan secara langsung dan moderated terhadap satu orang responden (100% populasi). Pengujian enam mekanisme tersebut dilakukan dengan metode split testing, dibagi menjadi varian A dan B sesuai dengan grup desain, serta diuji terhadap variabel task completion time. Task completion time dari masing-masing mekanisme akan dihitung, kemudian akan dibandingkan dengan mekanisme lain yang berada di dalam satu grup desain. Dengan begitu, penelitian ini dapat mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan waktu antara masingmasing mekanisme. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa formulir multi-halaman memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding formulir satu halaman. Selain itu, infinite scrolling memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding pagination pages. Terakhir, nonmodal dialog memiliki waktu yang lebih sedikit dibanding modal dialog.
English Abstract
Pinky Guard Kota Cilegon is a maintenance workshop franchise owned by an individual. In it, business management is formed independently by the owner, one of which is the administrative process in the form of recording, searching, and updating customer data. However, there are problems with the administrative process which still takes a long time to complete. Researchers also dug deeper by understanding the characteristics and needs of potential users. User needs contain what data is recorded, searched, and updated. Based on these problems, characteristics, and needs, this research designed a user experience in the form of a website prototype of six mechanisms that are considered to help speed up the administration process. Single-page form and multi-page form, infinite scrolling and pagination pages, and modal dialog and nonmodal dialog are the six mechanisms obtained from literature and reference studies. Then, these mechanisms are designed in design from wireframes, then mockups, and finally prototypes so that the design can interact with potential users during the testing process. The testing process was carried out directly and moderated on one respondent (100% of the population). The six mechanisms were tested using the split testing method, divided into variants A and B according to the design group, and tested against the task completion time variable. The task completion time of each mechanism will be calculated, then compared with other mechanisms in the same design group. By doing so, this research can determine whether there is a time difference between each mechanism. The test results show that multi-page form has less time than single-page form. In addition, infinite scrolling has less time than pagination pages. Last one, nonmodal dialog has less time than modal dialog
