Abstract

Pia apel merupakan sebuah makanan yang terbuat dari campuran isian selai apel serta minyak dan gula sebagai inti kemudian dibaluti dengan tepung lalu dipanggang. CV Permata Agro Mandiri merupakan salah satu industri yang mengolah buah apel menjadi berbagai macam produk olahan khas Batu dengan produk andalannya yaitu pia apel. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh Permata Agro Mandiri yaitu kapasitas produksi dan pendapatan memiliki kesamaan pola yaitu fluktuatif, hal ini akan berdampak pada penurunan profit perusahaan. Salah satu penyebabnya yaitu pandemi Covid-19 dan PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat) di Kota Batu pada tahun 2021. Permata Agro Mandiri juga mengalami beberapa kendala permasalahan dari faktor produktivitasnya. Selain itu, permata agro mandiri saat ini belum pernah melakukan pengukuran terkait produktivitas. Usaha yang dapat dilakukan oleh Permata Agro Mandiri adalah dengan menganalisis tingkat produktivitas menggunakan strategi American Productivity Center (APC) yang bertujuan untuk mengukur produktivitas dan profitabilitas secara bersamaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat produktivitas dan faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi serta memberikan usulan perbaikan sebagai upaya dalam peningkatan produktivitas dan profitabilitas di CV Permata Agro Mandiri. Model American Productivity Center meninjau keseluruhan proses bisnis baik itu ukuran transformal fisik serta finansial, kedua aspek ini berjalan beriringan agar perusahaan mampu memperoleh profit dalam waktu jangka panjang. Keluaran kerangka model ini menghasilkan perhitungan 3 output yaitu produktivitas, profitabilitas, dan perbaikan harga. Tiga formulasi model APC yaitu formulasi perhitungan indeks produktivitas memakai hargaharga konstan pada periode 1 (periode dasar), formulasi perhitungan indeks profitabilitas dengan memakai harga yang berlaku, dan fromulasi perhitungan indeks perbaikan harga ditiap input yang dipakai. Hasil pengolahan data didapatkan hasil indeks produktivitas dan indeks profitabilitas cenderung fluktuatif. Indeks produktivitas total (IPT) tertinggi pada bulan Desember 2022 (110,265) dan terendah pada bulan Juli 2021 (62,614), dengan rata-rata sebesar 98,4 sehingga dikatakan kurang baik karena dibawah periode dasar (di bawah 100). Indeks profitabilitas total (IPFT) tertinggi pada bulan Desember 2022 (125,149) dan terendah pada bulan Mei 2021 (66,752), dengan rata-rata sebesar 98,8 sehingga dikatakan kurang baik karena dibawah periode dasar (di bawah 100). Penurunan indeks produktivitas diakibatkan karena pemborosan bahan baku dan utilitas, penurunan jumlah tenaga kerja dan jam kerja mesin, penurunan jumlah bahan baku dan utilitas, kualitas bahan baku yang tidak sesuai standar, maintenance tidak rutin, tenaga kerja yang tidak disiplin, Penurunan indeks profitabilitas diakibatkan karena harga bahan baku tidak stabil, tarif dasar listrik dan air meningkat, jam gaji tenaga kerja meningkat, biaya penyusutan mesin dan maintenance meningkat. Setelah itu dilakukan evaluasi dan usulan perbaikan dari faktor-faktor penyebab permasalahan produktivitas dan profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indeks produktivitas dan indeks profitabilitas pada CV Permata Agro Mandiri dikatakan kurang baik karena dibawah periode dasar (di bawah 100). Saran yang diberikan bagi CV Permata Agro Mandiri yaitu diperlukan metode yang berbeda untuk mengukur produktivitas serta metode yang sama dengan penambahan beberapa variabel tambahan seperti modal, manajemen, dan lain sebagainya. Selain itu diperlukan pengukuran produktivitas pada semua produk yang dihasilkan agar hasil yang didapat lebih optimal.

English Abstract

Apple pie is a food made from a mixture of apple jam filling and oil and sugar as the core, then covered with flour and then baked. CV Permata Agro Mandiri is one of the industries that processes apples into various processed products typical of Batu with its flagship product, apple pia. The problem faced by Permata Agro Mandiri is that production capacity and income have the same pattern, namely fluctuating, this will have an impact on decreasing company profits. One of the causes is the Covid-19 pandemic and PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) in Batu City in 2021. Permata Agro Mandiri is also experiencing several problems related to its productivity factor. Apart from that, Permata Agro Mandiri has never taken measurements related to productivity. The effort that can be done by Permata Agro Mandiri is to analyze the level of productivity using the American Productivity Center (APC) strategy which aims to measure productivity and profitability simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of productivity and what factors influence it and provide suggestions for improvements as an effort to increase productivity and profitability at CV Permata Agro Mandiri. The American Productivity Center model reviews the entire business process both physically and financially transformative measures, these two aspects go hand in hand so that the company is able to obtain profits in the long term. The output of this model framework results in the calculation of 3 outputs, namely productivity, profitability and price improvement. The three formulations of the APC model are the formula for calculating the productivity index using constant prices in period 1 (base period), the formulation for calculating the profitability index using the current price, and the formulation for calculating the price improvement index for each input used. The results of data processing showed that the productivity index and profitability index tended to fluctuate. The highest total productivity index (IPT) was in December 2022 (110.265) and the lowest was in July 2021 (62.614), with an average of 98.4 so it is said to be not good because it is below the base period (below 100). The highest total profitability index (IPFT) was in December 2022 (125.149) and the lowest was in May 2021 (66.752), with an average of 98.8 so it is said to be not good because it is below the base period (below 100). The decrease in the productivity index was due to wastage of raw materials and utilities, a decrease in the number of workers and machine working hours, a decrease in the amount of raw materials and utilities, the quality of raw materials that did not meet standards, non-routine maintenance, an undisciplined workforce, a decrease in the profitability index due to Raw material prices are unstable, basic electricity and water rates are increasing, labor wages are increasing, machine depreciation and maintenance costs are increasing. After that, an evaluation and suggestions for improvement of the factors that cause productivity and profitability problems are carried out. The results showed that the productivity index and profitability index at CV Permata Agro Mandiri were said to be poor because they were below the basic period (below 100). The advice given to CV Permata Agro Mandiri is that a different method is needed to measure productivity and the same method with the addition of several additional variables such as capital, management, and so on. In addition, it is necessary to measure the productivity of all products produced so that the results obtained are more optimal.
