Abstract
Kebutuhan brokoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) dalam negeri masih belum dapat dipenuhi, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan produksi brokoli. Tingkat kesuburan tanah yang rendah pada lahan pertanian menjadi salah satu kendala dalam meningkatkan produksi tanaman brokoli di Indonesia. Penggunaan pupuk organik telah banyak digunakan untuk memperbaiki kesuburan tanah pertanian, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi tanaman. Salah satu jenis pupuk organik yang banyak diaplikasikan dalam budidaya tanaman di Indonesia adalah pupuk kandang ayam. Selain penggunaan pupuk kandang ayam, peningkatan produktivitas tanaman dapat dicapai dengan pemanfaatan pupuk hayati berupa Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari interaksi dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan PGPR terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman brokoli. Percobaan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan September 2022, di Desa Tulungrejo Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Alat yang digunakan yaitu meteran, alat tulis, timbangan, dan Leaf Area Meter (LAM). Bahan yang digunakan antara lain benih brokoli varietas green magic sakata, pupuk kandang ayam, PGPR, urea sebanyak 36 kg ha-1 , ZA sebesar 157 kg ha-1 , KCl sebanyak 100 kg ha-1 , dan SP36 sebesar 125 kg ha-1 . Rancangan percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF). Faktor percobaan terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan dosis PGPR. Perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang terdiri atas pupuk kandang 0 ton ha-1 , pupuk kandang 4 ton ha-1 dan pupuk kandang 8 ton ha-1 . Perlakuan dosis PGPR terdiri atas dosis 0 l ha-1 , dosis 6 l ha-1 , dosis 12 l ha-1 dan dosis 18 l ha-1 . Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan PGPR terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman brokoli. Interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan PGPR berpengaruh nyata terhadap luas daun pada 49 HST, indeks luas daun pada 49 HST, laju pertumbuhan tanaman pada 35-49 HST, berat segar bunga per tanaman dan berat segar bunga per hektar. Pemberian dosis PGPR yang meningkat belum dapat mengurangi dosis pupuk kandang ayam pada tanaman brokoli.
English Abstract
Domestic demand for broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) still cannot be met, so increasing broccoli production is necessary. Poor soil fertility on farmland is one of the obstacles to increasing broccoli production in Indonesia. Organic fertilizer is extensively used to improve the fertility of agricultural soils and to increase crop production. Chicken manure is a type of organic fertilizer that is commonly used in crop production in Indonesia. Apart from the use of chicken manure, it is possible to increase crop productivity by using bio fertilizers in the form of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). The objective of this study was to investigate the interaction of chicken manure and PGPR doses on the growth and yield of broccoli plants. The experiment was conducted from July to September 2022 in Tulungrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, East Java Province. The tools that used were sewing tape, stationery, scale and Leaf Area Meter (LAM). The materials that used were broccoli seeds of green magic sakata variety, chicken manure, PGPR, 36 kg ha-1 of urea, 125 kg ha-1 of ZA, 100 kg ha-1 of KCl, dan 125 kg ha-1 of SP36. The experiment was arranged in Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD). There were two research factors: the dose of chicken manure and PGPR. The treatment doses of manure consisted of 0 ton ha-1 of manure, 4 ton ha- 1 of manure, and 8 ton ha-1 of manure. The PGPR doses treatment consisted of 0 l ha-1 , a dose of 6 l ha-1 , a dose of 12 l ha-1 , and 18 l ha-1 . The results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of chicken manure and PGPR on the growth and yield of broccoli plants. The interaction between the dose of manure and PGPR showed a significant effect on leaf area at 49 dap, leaf area index at 49 dap, plant growth rate at 35-49 dap, fresh weight of flowers per plant and fresh weight of flowers per hectare. As a result, an increased of PGPR doses was not able to reduce the dose of chicken manure in broccoli plants
