Abstract
Tanaman kedelai (Glycine max L.) Merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data BPS Provinsi Jawa Timur (2018) tahun 2016 produksi kedelai sebesar 274.317 ton dengan luasan areal panen sebesar 181.810 ha, 2017 sebesar 200.916 ton luasan areal panen sebesar 133.593 ha, 2018 sebesar 244.442 ton luasan areal panen sebesar 166.810 ha. Menurut data Ritung et al. (2015) lahan di Jawa Timur yang tergolong tanah masam atau memiliki pH tanah <5,5 jumlahnya yaitu sebesar 2.663.666 hektar. Salah satu upaya yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tanah masam yaitu dengan pengaplikasian biochar sekam padi dan pupuk kandang yang dapat memperbaiki sifat-sifat tanah seperti pH tanah, N-total, C-organik, unsur hara dan lainnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanaan di green house yang berada di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya, Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Malang. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Juli - September 2022. Alat-alat yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari polybag, pH meter, timbangan analitik. Sedangkan bahan-bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu benih kedelai varietas Argomulyo, biochar sekam padi, pupuk kandang, aluminium sulfate Al2(SO4)3, pupuk SP36, urea, dan KCl serta pestisida. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaaan non faktorial yang disusun dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 9 kombinasi perlakuan yaitu B0=Biochar sekam padi 0 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 0 ton (Kontrol), B1= Biochar sekam padi 0 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 10 ton/ha, B2= Biochar sekam padi 0 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 15 ton/ha, B3= Biochar sekam padi 10 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 0 ton/ha, B4= Biochar sekam padi 10 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 10 ton/ha, B5= Biochar sekam padi 10 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 15 ton/ha, B6= Biochar sekam padi 15 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 0 ton/ha , B7= Biochar sekam padi 15 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 10 ton/ha, B8= Biochar sekam padi 15 ton/ha + pupuk kandang 15 ton/ha. Metode pelaksanaan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdiri dari pembuatan media tanam, perlakuan, penanaman, perawatan (pemupukan, penyulaman, penjarangan, penyiangan gulma, penyiraman, dan pengendalian hama dan penyakit) serta pemanenan. Adapun variabel pengamatan terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, waktu muncul bunga pertama, jumlah polong pertanaman, bobot polong pertanaman, bobot 100 biji, dan analisis tanah. Analisis data menggunakan Analyse of Variance (ANOVA) dua arah. Jika terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan maka selanjutnya diadakan uji lanjut meggunakan uji BNJ pada taraf 5%. Pemberian biochar sekam padi 15 ton/ha dan Pupuk Kandang 10 ton/ha mampu menghasilkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah polong, bobot polong, dan bobot 100 biji lebih tinggi daripada perlakuan lainnya. Selain itu, pemberian biochar sekam padi 15 ton/ha dan pupuk kandang 15 ton/ha mampu meningkatkan pH tanah serta kandungan unsur hara N, P, dan K pada tanah masam.
English Abstract
Soybean (Glycine max L.) is a food crop that is widely used by people in Indonesia. Based on BPS data for East Java Province (2018) In 2016 soybean production was 274,317 tons with a harvested area of 181,810 ha, in 2017 the production produced was 200,916 tons with a harvested area of 133,593 ha, in 2018 there was an increase in the harvested area of 166,810 ha which resulted in a production of 244,442 tons. According to data from Ritung et al. (2015) land in East Java which is classified as acid soil or has a soil pH <5.5 is 2,663,666 hectares. One effort that can overcome the problem of acid soil is by applying rice husk biochar and manure which can improve soil properties such as soil pH, total N, C-organic, nutrients and others. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of the application of rice husk biochar and manure on the growth and yield of soybean plants in acid soils.. This research was carried out at the green house which is located in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Brawijaya, Jatimulyo, Lowokwaru District, Malang. This research starts from July - September 2022. The tools needed for this research consist of polybags, pH meters, analytical balances. While the materials used in this study were soybean seeds of the Argomulyo variety, rice husk biochar, manure, aluminum sulfate Al2(SO4)3, SP36 fertilizer, urea and KCl and pesticides. This study was a nonfactorial experiment which was prepared using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consisted of 9 treatment combinations and 3 reputations, namely B0=0 ton/ha rice husk biochar + 0 ton/ha manure (Control), B1=0 ton/ha rice husk biochar + manure 10 tonnes/ha, B2= Biochar rice husk 0 tonnes/ha + manure 15 tonnes/ha, B3= Biochar rice husk 10 tonnes/ha + manure 0 tonnes/ha, B4= Biochar rice husk 10 tonnes/ha ha + manure 10 tonnes/ha, B5= biochar rice husk 10 tonnes/ha + manure 15 tonnes/ha, B6= biochar rice husk 15 tonnes/ha + manure 0 tonnes/ha, B7= biochar rice husk 15 tonnes /ha + 10 tonnes/ha of manure, B8 = 15 tonnes/ha of rice husk biochar + 15 tonnes/ha of manure. The implementation method in this study consisted of making planting media, treatment, planting, maintenance (fertilizing, replanting, thinning, weeding, watering, and pest and disease control) and harvesting. The observation variable consisted of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, flowering time, number of pods per plant, pod weight per plant, weight of 100 seeds, and soil analysis. Observation data that has been obtained is then carried out data analysis. Data analysis used two-way Analyze of Variance (ANOVA). If there is a significant difference between treatments, then will be carried out using the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level. The application of rice husk biochar 15 tons/ha and manure 10 tons/ha were able to produce higher plant height, number of leaves, number of pods, pod weight, and weight of 100 seeds than other treatments. In addition, the application of 15 ton/ha of rice husk biochar and 15 ton/ha of manure were able to increase soil pH and the nutrient content of N, P, and K in acid soil.
