Abstract

Terjadi kebakaran hutan di kaki Gunung Arjuno pada tahun 2019 hal ini menyebabkan lahan-lahan lain di sekitarnya yang menghanguskan ribuan tegakan pohon yang ada, sehingga tutupan lahan menjadi lebih terbuka. Kondisi tersebut meningkatkan resiko terjadinya longsor dan banjir bandang yang sangat merugikan bagi kehidupan dan lingkungan di sekitarnya. Restorasi lahan-lahan hutan terdegradasi yang terlanda banjir bandang tersebut, perlu segera dilakukan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya bencana alam, dan memulihkan kembali keanekaragaman hayati. Melalui implementasi regenerative agriculture atau sistem agroforestri yang diperkaya (enriched agroforestry), untuk memulihkan kondisi keanekaragaman tanaman pertanian. Untuk itu, perlu ditetapkan kondisi kerapatan dan keanekaragaman tanaman sebelum dilakukan restorasi sebagai base line data. Tujuan penelitian: mengevaluasi keanekaragaman dan kerapatan tanaman di beberapa sistem penggunaan lahan yang terdampak banjir bandang di kawasan SubDAS Kalisari dan Sub-DAS Kalilanang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di 4 lokasi yang masuk kedalam kawasan lereng Gunung Arjuno, yaitu desa Junggo, Glagah wangi, Gunung Pucung dan Karangan. secara administrasi ke empat lokasi penelitian termasuk ini masuk kedalam wilayah kota Batu dengan ketinggian rata-rata 1.500 mdpl, sedang desa karangan kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang dengan ketinggian 525 mdpl. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Januari hingga Maret 2023. Ada 6 sistem penggunaan lahan (SPL) yang diamati: (a) Agroforestri di kawasan lindung (AFKL), dan di luar kawasan hutan lindung adalah (b) hutan produksi (HP), (c) agroforestri multistrata (AFM), (d) agroforestri sederhana (AFS), (e) kebun buah (KB) dan (f) tanaman semusim (TS). Agroforestri kawasan lindung merupakan penggunaan lahan yang memiliki kerapatan stadia semai, sapihan, dan pohon paling tinggi. Penggunaan lahan yang berada di kawasan produksi; hutan produksi, agroforestri multistrata, agroforestri sederhana, dan kebun buah memiliki kerapatan stadia sapihan dan pancang yang tergolong kelas sedang. Sedangkan pada tanaman semusim kerapatan seluruh stadia tergolong paling rendah dibandingkan penggunaan lahan yang lain. Keanekaragaman hayati pada stadia semai sangat mendominasi pada seluruh penggunaan lahan dibandingkan stadia yang lain, akan tetapi terjadi tren menurun pada keberlanjutan jenis vegetasinya.

English Abstract

There were forest fires at the foot of Mount Arjuno in 2019 that burned thousands of stands of trees, leaving the land cover more open. These conditions increase the risk of landslides and flash floods that are very detrimental to life and the surrounding environment. Restoration of degraded forest lands affected by flash floods needs to be done immediately to minimize the occurrence of natural disasters, and restore biodiversity. Through the implementation of regenerative agriculture or enriched agroforestry systems, to restore conditions for agricultural plant diversity. For this reason, it is necessary to determine the condition of plant density and diversity before restoration as base line data. Research objective: to evaluate plant diversity and density in several land use systems affected by flash floods in the Kalisari Sub-watershed and Kalilanang Sub-watershed. The research was conducted in 4 locations that are included in the slope area of Mount Arjuno, namely Junggo, Glagah wangi, Gunung Pucung and Karangan villages. Administratively, the four research locations are included in the Batu city area in Bumiaji sub-district, Djungga sub-district, Bulukerto village with an average altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level and Karangan village which is included in the administration of Karangploso sub-district, Malang district with an average altitude of 525 meters above sea level. The research implementation includes 6 land uses consisting of natural forest areas, production forests, simple agroforestry, multi-strata agroforestry, annual crops and orchards. Which will see how the condition of the density and diversity of vegetation that exists in 6 SPL in the slopes of Mount Arjuno. Protected area agroforestry is the land use that has the highest density of seedlings, saplings and trees. Land uses located in production areas; production forests, multistrata agroforestry, simple agroforestry, and orchards have sapling and sapling stadia densities that are classified as medium class. While in annual crops the density of all stadia is the lowest compared to other land uses. Biodiversity at the seedling stadia is very dominant in all land uses compared to other stadia, but there is a downward trend in the sustainability of vegetation types.
