Abstract
Perundungan verbal termasuk jenis perundungan yang berbahaya karena dampaknya tidak terlihat secara fisik, bahkan antar korban dan pelaku pun tidak menyadari tindakan tersebut termasuk perundungan. Dampaknya, korban dapat mengalami ketakutan, kecemasan akut dan mudah stress, memiliki efikasi diri yang rendah sampai bunuh diri. Efikasi diri yang baik mampu mengontrol tindakan yang akan dilakukan di berbagai situasi yang sedang dihadapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat efikasi diri dengan kejadian perundungan verbal pada mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Brawijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, jumlah responden yaitu 177 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tingkat efikasi diri dan kuesioner perundungan verbal. Hasil penelitian tingkat efikasi diri menunjukkan responden dengan efikasi diri tinggi sebanyak 111 mahasiswa (62,7) dan 66 mahasiswa (37,3) memiliki efikasi diri sedang. Responden yang mengalami kejadian perundungan verbal rendah sekitar 152 mahasiswa (85,4) dan yang sedang sekitar 25 responden (14,1). Analisis ini menggunakan uji spearman rank dengan nilai α < 0,05 (0,000) dan nilai koefisien korelasi -0,526 yang dinyatakan kuat, sehingga hipotesis diterima dan dinyatakan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Saran untuk institusi, diharapkan memberikan edukasi atau promosi terkait perundungan sebagai upaya pencegahan.
English Abstract
Verbal bullying is a type of bullying that is dangerous because the impact is not physically visible, even the victims of bullying and bullies are not aware that their actions are bullying. The impact of bullying can makes victims feels fear experience, acute anxiety and stress easily, have low self-efficacy even to suicide. Individuals who have good self-efficacy to be able to control the actions to be taken in various situations. This research was designed to analyze the correlation of Level of Self-Efficacy and Incidents of Verbal Bullying in Nursing Students, Brawijaya University. The method of this research is cross-sectional correlative analysis, total respondents is 177 students. The research instruments used are a self-efficacy questionnaires and verbal bullying questionnaires. The results of the research level of self -efficacy show that respondents with high self- efficacy 111 students (62.7%) and 66 students (37.3%) have moderate self- efficacy. Respondents who experienced a low verbal bullying were around 152 students (85.4%) and moderate experienced around 25 respondents (14.1%).This research analysis used Spearman Rank test with value of α <0.05 (0,000) and the correlation coefficient value -0,526 that indicated strong, the hypothesis is accepted and indicated to have a significant correlation. Recommendations for institutions, are expected to provide education or promotions related to bullying as a prevention.
