Abstract
Departemen Teknik Industri Universitas Brawijaya (DTI UB), sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan di tingkat perguruan tinggi dalam upaya penerapan sistem pendidikan OBE (Outcome Based Education) memiliki proses yang sangat fundamental yaitu proses evaluasi CPMK (Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah) dengan output berupa dokumen portofolio mata kuliah hasil dari pembelajaran selama semester. Proses tersebut dijalankan oleh dosen secara manual dengan beban kerja yang tergolong high-volume workload in low-complexity tasks sehingga proses membutuhkan waktu proses yang tinggi dan juga memungkinkan terjadinya human error yang berdampak ke mahasiswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penulis mengangkat topik penelitian perancangan sistem RPA untuk mendukung penyusunan portofolio mata kuliah DTI UB. Penelitian disusun menggunakan metode Design Thinking yang terdiri dari 5 fase yang berurutan yaitu empathize, define, ideation, dan prototype & test. Masalah penelitian diidentifikasi menggunakan analisis PIECES, melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan user menggunakan SRC (System Requirement Checklist), membuat model konseptual menggunakan DTD (Decomposition Tree Diagram). Kemudian membuat pemodelan sistem menggunakan informasi dan dokumen yang didapatkan dari hasil wawancara, setelah itu dirancang menggunakan UiPath sebagai software perancangan sistem otomatis. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem RPA yang hasil running-nya berupa 2 dokumen yaitu excel RPS Mata Kuliah dan word Portofolio yang langsung dikirim melalui email. Pengujian sistem dengan membandingkan waktu proses & juga PIECES dari sistem existing dengan sistem RPA. Hasil menunjukkan sistem RPA berhasil mengestimasi waktu proses hingga 89% lebih singkat dibandingkan kondisi existing secara manual yang menjawab permasalahan dari penelitian.
English Abstract
The Department of Industrial Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (DTI UB), as an education provider at the university level in the effort to implement the OBE (Outcome Based Education) education system, has a very fundamental process, namely the Course Learning Outcomes evaluation process with output in the form of course portfolio documents as a result of learning during the semester. The process is carried out by lecturers manually with a workload that is classified as a high-volume workload in low-complexity tasks so the process requires high time processing and also enables human errors that have an impact on students. Based on these problems, the author raised the research topic of designing an RPA system to support the preparation of the DTI UB course portfolio. The research was prepared using the Design Thinking method which consists of 5 sequential phases, which include empathize, define, ideation, and prototype & test. The research problem was identified using PIECES analysis, identifying user requirements using SRC (System Requirement Checklist), and creating a conceptual model using DTD (Decomposition Tree Diagram). Then make system modelling using information and documents gathered from interviews, then design using UiPath as automated system design software. This research produces an RPA-based system whose running results are in the form of 2 documents, i.e., Excel RPS Courses and Word Portfolios which are directly sent by email. Testing the system by comparing the processing time & also PIECES of the existing system with the RPA system. The results showed that the RPA system succeeded in estimating the processing time up to 89% shorter than the current conditions manually which solved the problem of the research.
