(2023) Dinamika Suhu dan Oksigen Terlarut terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup (Survival Rate) pada Tambak Budidaya Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the commodities with the highest ratio of aquaculture production and continues to increase, so a system with intensive farming is needed to fullfil the demand for shrimp consumption. Intensive systems in aquaculture require stable water quality as a living medium for shrimp, two of which are temperature and dissolved oxygen (DO) because they are important parameters in supporting production performance. The dynamics of temperature and Dissolved Oxygen will have an impact on cultivation results. Analysis of the dynamics of temperature and DO is intended to determine the relationship between those parameters on the growth rate and survival rate of vannamei shrimp. The research was carried out in November 2022 - January 2023 in the internal ponds of PT. Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA), Bomo I unit, Banyuwangi conducted, East Java. Analysis of the dynamics of temperature and dissolved oxygen on the parameters the growth rate and survival rate of vannamei shrimp in HDPE ponds (H1, H2, and H3), concrete ponds (B1, B2, and B3), and fiber ponds (F1, F2, and F3). The data were obtained during 4 sampling times from DOC 30 to 51. The analysis was carried out by comparing primary data with secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the main parameters of growth rate and survival rate of vannamei shrimp in the experimental ponds have different results. The differences of growth rates and survival rates of vannamei shrimp in HDPE, concrete and fiber ponds are affected by differences of temperature and DO dynamics. Growth of shrimp in HDPE ponds produces ABW 2.58-10.13 grams/shrimp, ADG 0.24-0.39 grams/day, SGR 7.65-14.53%, concrete ponds produce ABW 2.27-8.49 gram/shrimp, ADG 0.21-0.34 gram/day, SGR 5.66-12.38%, and fiber ponds produce ABW 2.23-8.40 gram/shrimp, ADG 0.23-0 .31 gram/day, SGR 6.82-10.84%. The survival rate of vannamei shrimp in HDPE ponds is 84.6-91%, concrete ponds have an SR of 82.7-84.3%, and SR of fiber ponds is 86-89.5%. FCR values for all types of ponds during the study were obtained standard as optimal with results of 1.06, 1.12 in HDPE ponds, 1.24-1.26 in concrete ponds, and 1.07-1.13 in fiber pools. The observations of water quality parameters including temperature, DO, water color, brightness, salinity, pH, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and the percentage of plankton population in third types of ponds are classified as optimal.
