Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh pada kemudahan berusaha (EoDB) pada Negara-Negara APEC. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak delapan Negara anggota APEC. Periode pada penelitian ini berdasarkan tahun Rencana Aksi EoDB APEC yakni tahun 2010 – 2018. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari World Bank Development Indicator (WDI) dan World Bank Doing Business Indicator (WBDBI). Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menjadi referensi bagi pemerintah Negara anggota APEC untuk memfokuskan kebijakan pada faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh sehingga perbaikan iklim investasi dapat terus ditingkatkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa starting a business dan getting credit memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap pendirian bisnis baru (New Business Registered) yang menjadi proxy dari Ease of Doing Business pada delapan negara anggota APEC dari tahun 2010 – 2018, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas kebijakan investasi di Indonesia.
English Abstract
This study aims to analyse what factors affect the ease of doing business (EoDB) in APEC economies. The sample of this research is eight APEC member countries. The period of this study is based on the year of the APEC EoDB Action Plan, namely 2010 - 2018. The data used is secondary data obtained from the World Bank Development Indicator (WDI) and the World Bank Doing Business Indicator (WBDBI). This research is expected to be a reference for the governments of APEC member countries to focus policies on influential factors so that investment climate improvements can continue to be improved. The results of this study show that starting a business and getting credit have a positive influence on the establishment of new businesses (New Business Registered) which is a proxy for the Ease of Doing Business in eight APEC member countries from 2010 - 2018, both partially and simultaneously. This research can be used as a reference for the government in improving the quality of investment policies in Indonesia.
