Abstract
Seiring kemajuan teknologi, masyarakat mulai mengenal industri baru dalam upayanya untuk meningkatkan penyerapan tenaga kerja, salah satunya yaitu dengan adanya ekonomi kreatif (EKRAF) sektor musik. Kota Malang menjadi salah satu wilayah potensial dalam hal pengembangan musik, didukung dengan citra dirinya sebagai kota musik rock. Selain itu, musik Kota Malang sedang dalam fase bertumbuh dengan pengembangan stable growth strategy. Hal tersebut kemudian menjadi sebuah peluang penyerapan tenaga kerja secara bertahap dan perlu ditingkatkan. Diperlukan analisis terkait pengaruh variabel yang berkontribusi dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja EKRAF sektor musik di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel modal (X1) dan upah (X2) terhadap tingkat penyerapan tenaga kerja (Y). Responden sejumlah 97 orang melalui penjaringan populasi pelaku industri musik di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel modal dan upah secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor musik di Kota Malang melalui uji t, F-Test, dan R square.
English Abstract
As technology advances, people are getting to know new industries in an effort to increase employment, one of which is the creative economy (EKRAF) in the music sector. Malang City is one of the potential areas in terms of music development, supported by its image as a rock music city. In addition, Malang City music is in a growing phase with the development of a stable growth strategy. This then becomes an opportunity for gradual employment and needs to be increased. It is necessary to analyze the influence of variables that contribute to the absorption of EKRAF's workforce in the music sector in Malang City. This study aims to determine the effect of the variable capital (X1) and wages (X2) on the level of employment (Y). Respondents were 97 people through a population screening of music industry players in Malang City. The results showed that the variables of capital and wages simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the absorption of labor in the music sector in Malang City through the t-test, F-Test, and R square.
