English Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the long-term and short-term effects on inflation, the BI-7 Days Repo Rate, deposit rates, and yields of Government Securities (SBN) on the growth of bank deposits in Indonesia, which is less than IDR 2 billion due to the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic shocks as seen through the variables in this study that have the potential to have an impact on the growth of bank deposits Differences Test and the Error Correction Model were used to analyze the data. The findings of this study indicate that the DPK, BI-7DRR, deposit interest rates, and SBN yield variables differed before and during the COVID-19 pandemic in the first objective. Furthermore, the second objective, inflation, BI-7DRR, deposit interest rates, and the COVID-19 pandemic all have long-term effects but no short-term effects. Meanwhile, the SBN yield has no longterm and no short-term effect on the growth of bank deposits in Indonesia below IDR 2 billion.
